1  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Completed Projects / milk n'cream merino yarn on: June 22, 2010 02:00:42 AM
It's been a while since my last post in this section, but finally, I have something to share!  Smiley
I made this with my drop spindel during an event at the roman museum in Augusta Raurica this spring. I really like the texture and how the light brings out the cream colour. I thought about dying it, but I think I'll let it as it is...

2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / strawberry n' cream candy bracelet on: June 21, 2010 11:56:42 AM
I made this in the Loaded charm bracelet swap 2 for my partner. I really like how it turned out, even though I don't like pink too much.  Wink
It was so much fun to make it and I'll make more bracelets for sure!  Grin

3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Enchanted Forest Bracelet on: April 19, 2010 05:55:41 AM
My first bracelet ever!  Grin I'm pretty proud of it. I named it enchanted forest because of the colour theme I used and I think I'll add some fairy charms as soon as I find some..

C&C welcome!  Smiley
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Gravestone pillow on: March 12, 2010 07:13:13 AM
I made this for the cute'n creepy swap because my partner wished a pillow that looks like a gravestone. It's made of a soft, velvet-like fabric. The aplications are felt.

5  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Fimo Magnets on: March 12, 2010 06:02:00 AM
I made these for the cute'n creepy swap.

This is Wolfie (I think he's such a cutie!)

And a bunch of skulls
6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Netbook case on: March 10, 2010 10:31:21 AM
I bought a netbook recently because my large notebook was just to heavy to carry it with me every day. It's small and lightweight and it fits in my bag perfectly. BUT: I needed a case to prevent it from becoming scratched!
And that's the result:

closeup (I love that button!)

I think I'll make some more embroidery...

7  FIBER ARTS / Weaving: Completed Projects / A new cardweaving on: March 10, 2010 05:00:49 AM
Hi folks!

I have'nt been weaving for ages, but a few weeks ago, a friend came up, asking me if I could make him a band to mend the sleeves of his favourite coat. I said yes and gave him some suggestions of different patterns.
This is what he wished to have:

it was my first time making a tendril. It is a variation of the ramshorn pattern

hmm.. I think I should personalise my loom a bit...
8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Ready made flowery hair decoration on: January 17, 2010 04:37:34 AM
Hi Folks!

I made this recently. It's pretty simlpe: You just need plastic flowers, combs, hot glue and ten minutes!

9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / First try in nalbinding on: January 17, 2010 04:14:59 AM
Hi folks!

I know, nalbinding is not exactly crochet, but it's pretty similar (you do it with one needle), so I think this is the best place to post it.
I'm so proud! I taught it myself last sunday and this is what I came up with:

as you may see, the second became much more tight than the first. As I said: I'm still learning.. Undecided

If you like to see more nalbinding stuff and know more about that craft, check out the historic craftalong:
10  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Organizing my reenactment stuff... on: January 09, 2010 05:11:35 AM
All my medieval stuff was in a complete mess. I had this tiny coffer to put all my things in and all my clothes were stored in Granny's basement.  Undecided That wasn't what I wanted! I dreamed of a nice board to store all my things. They should be seen and adored by every visitor!  Wink
A few weeks ago I saw this adorable board in a flysheet. I had to buy it because it was just perfect! Then I reorganised my whole mess. I took me some time, but I'm happy with it!

The board:

and the details:

all my pottery and kitchen stuff. And my beeswax candles!

My hoods, home textiles, sewing and spinning stuff

Bags, pouches, belts and pin-on sleeves. And my beloved, beautiful viking knife!

my clothes. There are some left in the basement which I have to move..

Shoes, cleaning stuff and my basket (I store unfinished projects in it when it's not in use)
