1  Re: One Sheet Wonder Card Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Averia on: May 24, 2018 08:59:58 PM
I realized after looking at how much better the other photos in the gallery are that I ought to take small group shots of these cards. I will try to do that when I am back in town (leaving tomorrow for a few days)

Here are my beautiful cards from seeuudee Again, so happy with all the blues! My daughters were actually fighting over the coffee card Cheesy

The outstanding Coffee Card

so cute!!! love the paper used to frame the theme paper. it really made the card pop

Thank you Gini!

I want to add my congrats to Mr. Alexampersandra! That is an accomplishment!

we took Lilith out for a family favorite tonight - macaroni pie - YUM!

Here she is getting ready to hike our favorite trail - the trolley line trail. It used to be a trolley line connecting our little town to Baltimore.

Bonus at the end of the hike - Trolley stop restaurant!

I love when the menu gives you the history

I put in the questionnaire that I would be sending a bear, but have been rethinking the sending my sweet little Molly

Then again, it has been a while since Jimmie went visiting... Gives one the chance to yell "Oh no the lobster is on the loose" or whatever...

6  Re: 50 Projects 2018-Reach for Your Crafting and Creative Goals! in Craftalongs by Averia on: December 31, 2017 07:37:06 AM
I have some big goals in the coming year for finishing WIPs and crafting for the new grandbaby. I want to dress her in reversable apron dresses with ruffle butt pants all summer long. 2nd daughter is going to college and needs a quilt (yay for her picking out a lovely HST pattern)

Total as of 4/22/18 - 6/50 I really need to pick up the pace.

1.) Tinkerbell dress for Shannon

2.) Microwave bowl holders
[/url]

3.) Crappy needle book - I have so many project bags stocked and ready to go, but one single one had no needle book. Embroidery is okay, but I totally failed on the assembly.

4.) Thankful cross stitch (started around 2 years ago - pattern by Hands On Design)

5.) Cross stitch for my grandbaby - yes, it is a kit, but still made with love.

6.) There is no decent way to photograph a shopping cart seat cover without a shopping cart for reference. Stupid thing took way more time than it is worth. When you factor the $20 worth of supplies and the considerable time, I do not think it is a major improvement over a store bought one for $15 but as with the cross stitch, stitched with love.

7  Re: Christmas Stocking round 13 Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Averia on: December 15, 2017 06:14:07 PM
I am horribly unforgivably late in posting pictures of the fantastic stocking I received.

Here is everything all together even though it really doesn't even fit on my desk. I can't believe this was JS' idea of a small package!!! It contained the most gorgeous stocking to go with my blue and silver christmas theme,  2 very post reticules with so many lovely details, a set of six blue & white toile coasters (I think this is the 3rd package I have received with this fabric Cheesy I do love it so!) a cute santa tree ornament made with so much precision, a framed map with a heart circling Buffalo where my husband and I met, adorable snowmen clothespins, vegan lipbalm, bookmarks,  an air freshener, and the most amazing plastic canvas teapot! It is amazing and so much fun! Just to make it extra awesome, it is a tissue dispenser with the tissues coming out of the spout. JS said she sent it along with the idea of tea parties with my grandbaby. oooh oooh ooh, which reminds me, there is a special hello kitty cup for the grandbaby, but unfortunately I didn't get a shot of the cup with everything else. The baby loves it!

Where it all began! so uniquely framed and so special to me.

my office light is terrible - the colors of the reticules are much more beautiful than they show here in this picture!

Did I mention loving this stocking? Seriously, love this stocking!

I had to show multiple views of this tea pot. It is fabulous and going to get so much use in tea parties not to mention giving me a smile when my allergies hit.

Thank you JS! Love swapping with you!!!

Nice tote bag!

Now check out my loveliness!

VegHorseGirl claimed me for a market bag. She sent not only a lovely and useful market bag, but one with firefly accents. She also sent me the cutest card detailing my mission from Firefly, and a few extra fabrics including one stamped with serenity. If you look closely you can see the straps of the market bag have the same firefly stamped fabric.

Thank you veghorsegirl!

Edel completely blew me away with this package! So much love for this item, there are no words! And I seriously appreciate all the care, time and effort that went into it. The fabric choices, the stitching, the whole concept, yep, so much love!

and if that wasn't enough, she also included this cute headband

Thank you Edel!

Glad that bowl turned out so nice  - always a risk when ordering on line

I'm a little delayed in posting pictures, but finally have a few minutes since I am home today recovering from surgery (no big deal, all okay).

Here is the sweet pin cushion I received from La Chapa. Lovely color choices!

She also sent a couple toys for my cat Phoebe, who loves them! and a beautiful post card

I also received this gorgeous bag from Fishstix with a very handy dandy swifter cover too. The bag is huge and lovely and reversable to a wonderful solid blue but love the patterned side so much doubt I will be reversing it.

thank you both for the lovely packages!
