I clicked on this thinking "There's a man in my city who did this!" Lo and behold, you linked one of the articles about it Smiley Glad others are spreading cheer elsewhere.

That's hilarious, I love how the banner trails onto the backing. Your ideas/muses are brilliant.

Oh. My. Gawd. This totally rocks. I've always want to make/have a crazy detailed dollhouse; my sister and I would spend ages looking at all the tiny pieces of furniture and the mini chandeliers. This is WAY cooler.

I love all the sweetness , like the painted hearts, mixed with the kitschy and random. Is that a MJ bride peaking out of the green tower? And the dangling keys look awesome. I say leave the spaces empty for now; you'll know when you uncover something amazing that it was destined to go in one of those places.
17  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: Frosted Fall Theme? on: November 15, 2010 09:20:17 PM
That sounds like it could turn out gorgeous. I thinking of all sorts of ideas for that now...

As far as colors, I would do red and ivory, with silver/crystal accents. I think that the warmer colors would have that autumnal feel with the crystals acting as frost. From the winter perspective, red is very much a holiday color. You could use white over ivory or richer shades of red for more of a frosty feel.

Congratulations! Everything looks absolutely wonderful. I love how personal you made everything, even the bridesmaids baskets. Including all your Craftster friends is such a lovely gesture. Here's to your happiness!

Also, may I adopt your father? Wink
