1  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Sims 2 Cosplay ("kimono" dress, plumbobs, thought bubble) on: September 16, 2011 11:27:06 AM
Clicked on the thumbnail thinking "That looks like the Sims' kimono" and so it is! Awesome cosplay, it really does rock. Was the thought bubble hand held?
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: How I feel while browsing Craftster on: June 29, 2011 07:51:48 PM
This is how I feel on Craftster too. I like this, Alot.
3  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Princess Zelda from Skyward Sword on: June 28, 2011 01:40:27 AM
The details are stellar! I think her new design is really cute too.
4  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: 2011 Costume-Along on: April 25, 2011 05:39:47 PM
I'd totally be down for posting my progress, except I'm going to be gone for the next four months with no access to internet, and most of which I won't have access to crafting supplies... Ah, woe, especially since I plan on having a fairly accessory rich costume. Nymla's voodoo princess really inspired me, so this year I plan on going as a which doctoress. I really want to have the same scrappy, wild look that she has, but keep it my own. I just bought a bunch of bone beads and am in the midst of teaching myself to macrame, so I'm already on my way. My one friend also said he would give me some sheep bones too.
Things to do:
~leather underbust corset, canvas side panels with painted/embroidered accents and runes
~macrame belt with hip accent
~macrame belt with bottle/trinket holder
~2 painted leather panels with beaded fringe
~furry leg/arm wraps
~multitude of necklaces, bracelets, strings to wrap on arms.
~undershirt, crisscross top
~some sort of short/gathered skirt for under panels; still trying to figure this out.

Phew! So not much to do construction wise; the only thing that requires any real thought is the corset. The rest I want to  keep simple and rough. My time is mostly going to be sucked up in the details, but even if I'm running short on time come October, I can make most of these things in class!
5  COOKING / Dessert / Re: The Epic Neapolitan Birthday Cake on: April 22, 2011 03:25:51 PM
That looks scrumptious! I love the idea of using Nutella as a frosting layer.
6  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: What's Easter without an Easter Bunny? ;) on: April 22, 2011 11:54:42 AM
Oh my ears and whiskers, I'm pretty sure that is the definition of adorable!
7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Nintendo Entertainment System Lunch Box on: April 22, 2011 12:19:38 AM
This is beyond cool. I'd make one for myself, but I doubt I have the mechanical prowness to figure out how...

Is it still very heavy, even with it being gutted?
8  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: QR Code Sampler on: March 21, 2011 03:12:32 AM
But, I like my phone that only dials numbers...

This is really awesome. I love the idea and am surprised I haven't seen it done before.
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Sega Genesis 'Troller Belt Buckle on: February 13, 2011 08:45:00 PM
Woo! I was a Sega kid for a very long time. Glad to see it get a little love too.

Which makes me think, a Genesis remote is nearly the perfect size and shape for a clutch... I only I didn't still play my Genesis, or could find a few old remotes.
10  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: Plain shoe and ugly jewelry? No longer! on: January 21, 2011 08:42:00 PM
I'm a pretty conservative gal, but these are too awesome not rock! I love em, and will definitely be scouring the 10 for $10 sales at the local hipster stores for jewelry.

Out of curiousity, what did you use to attach everything?
