4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: From knitty, astrodome hat on: October 12, 2005 02:41:45 PM
One of my favorites from this issue, which I would be making if I didn't commit (well) to 'Josephine' first.  Adore yours!  Turned out super...nice, cheery and bright!
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Retro Poodle Bottle Cover from Simple Knits with a Twist on: October 12, 2005 02:39:41 PM
This was one of my fav's from the book too.  What a hoot!  Would make a fun holiday gift.  You did a super job with the pattern....turned out great!
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Loop-d-Loop Cabled Riding Jacket on: October 10, 2005 02:55:10 PM
Your jacket turned out amazingly lovely!  So impressive.  That's also my favorite pattern from the book.  In fact I have the yarn to make it, yet no time.  Someday.  Thanks for the encouraging inspiration!

I also would love to know how long it took to knit up and how (if) complicated the pattern was for you (I haven't really sat down and actually read it yet.  I should)?  Thx.
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: princess leia cap! on: October 05, 2005 08:36:54 AM
That is amazing (amazing in thought and item!)!  How cool.  We could use some Leia in this household.  Thanks for inspiring!
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: kitty scarf on: October 05, 2005 08:35:34 AM
Ok, that is hilarious AND lovely...all at the same time!  The look on your cat's face...she/he(?) has the air of coziness.  Super job on your first cute project!
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Felted Moebius Sling Bag on: October 05, 2005 08:32:30 AM
Your bag turned out smashing...super color combo...it's perfect!  I checked out the book from the library and have been yearning to try one of the felted bags.  Now I think I definately will.  Thanks for the inspiration!
10  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Knitty's "Flora" Knitalong on: October 02, 2005 11:34:22 AM
Everyone's 'Flora's' are quite smashing and lovely....wonderful inspirations in colors!  I also made a Flora (like ASAP when the pattern came out):

I only wish now that I would have made mine longer, as it's fairly short on the flower side....on another one perhaps?  This is a great stash-buster for certain!

There's more photos on my blog in a post from 9/10, fyi.
