Haha, personally, I think instant wheat porridge is the ideal breakfast, but I doubt that's something you can use to show off  Cheesy

Easy chinese! It's my favorite to cook when someone's coming over. I use the cheapest bami noodles, they need to be cooked for about 10 minutes, so you're done in 15.

For 3 little girls' portions (me), or me and a big-boy-portion-eating date, you'll need:
- 4 noodle nests
- the cheapest bag of mixed stir fry vegetables (=400g of leek, carrot, cabbage, taugeh around here - if you cook for 1 or 2 people it's actually cheaper to by the precut stuff, because if I buy a piece of everything it will go moldy before I can eat it)
- small can of pineapple chunks (preferably in juice, not syrup)
- 200g chicken chunks / panga fish chunks / quorn chunks / tofu
- a handful of cashew nuts
- sweet chili sauce
- some oil

Put up a pan with water for the noodles, add them when the water is boiling. Then heat the oil in a stir fry pan and add chicken/fish/quorn. When done, add vegetables. When almost done, add pineapple and cashew nuts. The noodles are done when the stir fried (saute'd?) stuff is. Serve with sweet chili sauce to taste.

I often omit the chicken/fish/quorn, but people tend consider a recipe without a traditional type of protein chunk not a proper recipe...

When my braces have been tuned up, I can't chew or bite anything. Those days, I live on:

- instant wheat porridge (Dutch brand name is Brinta)
- soup (tomato, broccoli, small lentils)
- yoghurt with fruit or well-soaked cereal
- smoothies
- spinach-couscous-feta 'porridge'
- tomato-couscous 'porridge'
- zucchini pancakes

My favorite cocktail is a plain and simple 'frozen daiquiri': white rum, lime juice, sugar and crushed ice.

My brand new braces make biting and chewing quite painful, but I got tired of eating only soup and pudding. These pancakes are soft enough to eat with painful teeth, and taste good besides.

Combine (per person):
- half a grated zucchini
- 1 egg
- 5 tablespoons of flour
- salt, pepper, herbs to taste

Fry heaps of three tablespoons in a little bit of oil and serve with grated cheese.

Well, when I make it, two thirds of the lasagna is vegetable... which makes it quite veggy in my opinion.
