You know, it wasn't that great. I don't think I like olive oil as a base. I find it greasy. i'll try something lighter next time!

Here are some initial pics of the beautiful package Betsy sent me! I'm sure I'm missing something, as Ariadne ran off with lots of it (I think her mask is currently on a doll).

We're going to an Elves and Fairies festival in Boulder today where all the little kidlets dress up and have a parade, so there should be some cuuuttteee action shots for me to post later of Ari's Beltane gear!

Thank you, Betsy!!

I finished a small thing, and I am working on my large. Should be done soon! I had to dig some of my supplies out of storage, which is good, because they needed using up.

I made this today using this tutorial: http://girlfifteen.com/2015/03/11/diy-lavender-and-clary-sage-facebody-balm/

I chose it especially because it doesn't involve jojoba, vitamin e, or any other expensive or hard-to-find ingredients. I used a few drops of tea tree instead of the sage, but not too much because I want to be able to put this on my face, and tea tree oil can burn.

I doubled the recipe and used three little jars I got from the thrift store. I sprinkled some dried lavender buds on top. I know that risks it going moldy sooner, so I'm giving two of these away and using it quickly.

Yes! I took up woodburning recently, and I can make some adorable plant markers with that.
