Alrighty, please return to your regularly scheduled talking about icky chocolate.

English chocolate isn't icky ;p
And I will remember to take photos of my package before packing, just as a precautionary measure. I've read through a lot of swap gallerys and people often have camera/computer problems, better to be safe than sorry ^.^
I realllly hope my partner likes my package, Have started getting it together :3

I'm from Canada and had no idea Americans called rockets, smarties. Odd, didn't think the candy difference was that great between canada and the us.

I know isn't it funny!  every time I travel to the US I marvel at the differences.  My sister lives in New Zealand and they get more of the same candy there than the US does.  I think that Nestle (kit kat, coffee crisp, aero, smarties...) are from Canada, and have started going into the US only over the past few years.  also the flavours of chips are different.

UK smarties are like canadian one, so maybe it's like...commonwealth countries?
I don't know if NZ is a commonwealth country, but Australia is, isn't it? so maybe they have the same kinda...shipments?

I think the UK is the only country in which Lays are called walkers though?
i assume they're the same company, they seem to have the same logo.
Everywhere else they seem to be called lays D:

Ideally, I'd like to be paired with at least one person who wants fabric scraps; ultimately, it's no problem either way. I want to give supplies; I don't want to receive any more supplies (or else my marriage might be in jeopardy). But... I do love pincushions...

I'm like that...I don't need any more supplies..
but then everyone is posting about paper supplies (i'm a giver of fabric, i will NOT be a needer...even though it's rediculously tempting)
I'm trying to clear out my room a bit before i move out later this year.. and it's not going great.. everything is a 'oh..but i MIGHT need it'
not to mention that i recently got into paper crafts(luckily that's only in one box)
I'm thinking that the guilt of possibly letting down a swap partner is going to make me give more away. the things which i just won't use, but can't seem to get rid of. Smiley

this swap came along at a very convenient time for me Smiley
also has made me look at certain bits of hoarded paraphenalia and go 'you are rubbish, why have i kept you for years?'

>.<
wish i could have my partner now D:
too excited

That's such a cute idea Smiley
i would do this too if i had any artistic talent at all..
and all my umbrellas invariably break, so i gave up on them..
but this is seriously cute, and you can barely see tehe ad text in the first photo Smiley
and not at all in the second..
now all you need is a matching raincoat and wellies ^.^

Question?

Maybe I missed it but when we give how much are we suppose to give is there a certain size box minimum/max?

there's no maximum or minimum, but you should give a box you'd be happy to recieve, Smiley

I was just brainstorming what i could get rid of, and i realised I have a lot of fabric :s
I have a whole bolt of something which I never use,
and 6 yards of something else i've never used..
>.<
will have to decide when i get my partner what stuff they'd prefer Smiley
don't think i could afford the air mail on the bolt though :s

Ah, decluttering Cheesy

And also, it gives you the opportunity to look very organised by saying to the destined reciever 'oh yeah, i've got yours'
and they'll be in crippling suspense for months.
unless you are like me and just tell them D:
