Yay, this makes it easier to share crafster with my mom.  She's so crafty, but she's also a lovable prude.

I like it a lot.  I think it's great that the things on it represent people in your family.

Awesome idea. I will be making some of these.

I recently discovered that you can use a heating pad to melt chocolate.  It takes a while, but it works.  Alton Brown (the King of all that is Awesome in the Kitchen) suggests this in his truffle recipe.  I made the recipe as written and it was wonderful.

The schoodie is fab!  Looks very comfy too!

And fun fur is evil.  My sister who coaches high school volleyball, makes her seniors fun pillows each year.  (translation: she picks fabric and plays gopher while I make them Cheesy)  Anyway, a few years ago she decided to use fun fur for the backs of like 8 pillows.  It looked like a muppet massacre in my sewing room and I decreed, NO MORE FUN FUR!

That's adorable!  Thanks for the link to the tute.  It saves me from having to search.

As for future projects, I vote for a frog.  You could put little eyes on top.
106  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: Reconstructed Tree Angel on: December 15, 2008 06:30:47 PM
I've had the same problem finding a star for the top of my tree.  I grew up with stars on our trees.  I hate most of the ones I find in the stores.  You've inspired me to get crafty with it.

I would LOVE this pattern.  These are amazing.

Those are just beautiful.  I'd love to know how you made them too.  I have a small ever green in my front yard that those would look adorable on.

Those look like lots of fun!  I kind of wish my little one was big enough that I could justify making one.  I'm sure I will in the future though.
