1  Cookies on my jumper in Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects by ShannonMB on: January 20, 2019 06:19:52 PM
Once all my kids moved out, I had an over abundance of kids bed sheets.  So I decided to make myself some clothes with all that fabric..... Because I'm an adult, and as an adult I can wear a jumper covered with milk and cookies and not care what others think.Lol
I didn't use a pattern.  I totally faked it using a pair of baggy pj pants I love.

2  Over the rainbow macrame in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by ShannonMB on: January 19, 2019 07:01:34 PM
I just taught myself macrame (with the help of some YouTube tutorials)
This one is doing with yarn, because I wanted to use what I had before I went out and bought a bunch of supplies.
I absolutely LOVE it!
I'll be making more as soon as I get to the beach for more driftwood.

This bad boy is approx 4 feet across.

3  Repurposed glass door into stained glass in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by ShannonMB on: August 23, 2015 01:32:51 PM
So I've had this glass door hanging around my house for a while now, waiting for it to tell me what it wanted to be.
This weekend it decided.   Cheesy
I used glass paint and created something to hang in our kitchen window.   Fun fact....the moon, pumpkin, spider web is a tattoo I have on the back of my neck, drawn for me by my husband.  Smiley

4  Re: Whimsical Shrine Gallery in The Swap Gallery by ShannonMB on: August 18, 2014 10:54:47 AM
My partner received last week...but I think she's been really busy at work.  So I'm going to post some pictures for her.   Cheesy.  I went with her favorite poem quote by Robert Frost.  It was hard to send this...I love it.  Lol

And because I thought it would be cool....it lights up.

6  Re: The Awesome Manicure Thread! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by ShannonMB on: February 01, 2014 01:23:07 AM
My own nails are always so long, and over the top design wise.  My philosophy.... the longer the better, the more room for art. Lol
So this was my first go with the stiletto shape.  Thought I would hate it, but no, I loved them!  I tried my hand at encasing pieces of lace inside of the acrylic.  It worked brilliantly.  Then, I added a 3D rose and glitter... because a girl can never have too much glitter.   Grin

10  Dr. Who....ooooweeeeooooooo.... in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by ShannonMB on: February 01, 2014 01:10:21 AM
My daughter is a huge Dr. Who fan (ok... so am I ) but in this case, were talking about her.  Lol. She wanted a Dr. themed set of nails.  I really loved putting these together for her.  Smiley  They are done in gel polish, and acrylic paints and glitter.  The red one is a dalek, I just couldn't get it to photograph.
