1  Re: Ideas for this fabric, please, my creative friends? in Quilting: Discussion and Questions by celticscryer on: March 21, 2009 05:29:58 PM
OK, this is a crazy coincidence, but this picture popped up in one of my Flickr groups.  It's got most of the same fabrics as you, and it happens to be in the Amy Butler Brick Path.  I think it's gorgeous!

2  Crazy Nine Patch in Quilting: Completed Projects by celticscryer on: January 04, 2009 08:16:11 AM
I made this lovely crazy nine patch for my niece for Christmas.  I used Moda's Woodland Blooms and a white on white to make the bright colors pop.  I'm really happy with how this turned out!

Keri just loves it!   Wink

The second one was made for a friend on one of my message boards.  Her second child is due in January and she talked me into making a quilt for her, too!

This one was a little trickier, but I love how well it turned out.  I adore the brightness of it.

Now that I'm able, I thought I'd share some pictures of my first two quilts.   Smiley  Despite the many little goofs I made, I'm pretty darned proud of them.

The first one was made over the summer for one of my best friends for her first child:

Being a nervous Nelly about the whole quilting thing, I went super simple by using just blocks on this one.  I love the way it turned out.
