Yea! Superhero Grannies!!! I was going to add a link to the yarn for those not in the know, but it is no longer on Hobby Lobby's website Cry Cry My skein is missing the label so I can't even tell you the real name of the yarn.
After I sent out the superhero grannies a few rounds ago, I haven't been able to make anything else with it. lol.

Grannies from OnePinkHippo

I received an amazing package yesterday from redstar13. She spoiled me so-so much.

A Union Jack Heart Ornament/ Door Hanger.

Awesome ornaments for our tree. I love personalized ornaments. There's one for each of us, my son, my fiance, and myself.

I love my Buckeyes!! Hairbows. The two on the right are bobby pins and the other is a barrette.

My second favorite. I LOVE aprons. The color looks wonky, but it's pink with black, and reversible.

My Favorite!!! BLOOMERS!!!! Smiley

Thanks redstar for everything!!![/color]

I received an awesome thank-you gift from dreadlocklove a while ago. Sorry for taking so long to get around to pics, life got super-crazy, super-fast. (In a matter of 10 days, grandpa had to have open heart surgery, I lost my job and my uncle passed) Life seems to be getting back to normal today (hopefully).

So on to the pics. Group shot. She sent the most wonderful smelling package of handmade bath goodies.
Two bars of soap, two bath bombs, essential oil and and a oil warmer.  The bath bombs are vanilla and lavender and made for a very relaxing bath the other day. One soap is neem oil, and the other has calendula flowers in it.

The oil is a lavender peppermint blend and smells amazing.

Thanks so much dreadlocklove!!

I received my thank you from thelastkodama yesterday! Please excuse my lazyness. I took the pic in front of the laptop and part of it is in te shadow. I got some awesome hairbows. One is on a ponytail holder, with buttons to look like buckyeyes, and the other is on a barrette. There's also a button buckeye on a bobby pin. LOVE THEM!!! She also noticed I'm collecting license plates and sent me one from Vermont. Thanks!!!

5  Re: Are you Ready for Some Football R2 Gallery! in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by froggmomma on: October 07, 2010 11:59:43 AM
Finally after a weeks delay here are the pics of my package.
I had said in my questionnaire that I would like (maybe a flag) like the ones they have for Ohio State and Michigan fans that are half scarlet and grey and half blue and yellow, that say house divided. But of course I'd need it to be Steelers and Browns.

I love this!!!! So does the boyfriend fiance. When I showed him he said, "That's so stinking cute." (a line he may have picked up from me)  He loves his keychain and made me grab some ribbon so he could hang it up on his rear view mirror in his car. Mine's up in mine, too.

I love this hat and can't wait to wear it on Sat, when we watch the game. It's very similar to the one on my wist.

Thanks mrsjimenz!!!!

OH yeah and I'll apologize in advance for the STEELERS crushing the BROWNS next weekend. The fiance wants to make a bet about the game, I think I'm going to make him a yellow shirt with black lettering that says " MY team sucks, HER team rocks", and make him wear it to work on Monday. lol

6  Upcycled Scottie in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by froggmomma on: September 30, 2010 03:36:51 PM
Recently for the Buy Nothing Swap I made this Scottie Dog pillow based of the one on my partners wists. I used mostly recycled fabrics for the patchwork, denim from some old jeans for the back, and new fabric and ribbon for the edging and the bow.

Front shot.

Back view.

Today I started searching my stash for green fabrics to make a frog pillow in the same style.

Thanks for looking.

I received yesterday from Kwality570. I am just thrilled with everything. I actually squealed a couple time.

Group shot. The new holiday crafts mag, and a beautiful Rapunzel scarf. Is that handspun yarn I see??

Super awesome hat. Straight off my wists.

Felted bowls.

Super cute birdy pin. I've been spying these everywhere, and I love it.

Toad-ally squeeal worthy. (Sorry ladies-had to do it. It's been a long week)

And the best part (funny how a little piece of acrylic can make your week) R2-D2 and CP3-O

Thanks Kwality!! Grin Grin Grin

I'm home from a wonderful weekend with my honey at the lake, now on to the pics of the awesome package laurasaurus sent.

First off, A totally great recipe "book". She took and old accordion style coupon holder, covered it with fabric and put baked goods labels in the tabs. Super Cute fabric cupcake in the outside. A fabulous fabric bookmark, which will be going directly into the next book I pick up, and a cute little wooden jolly roger flag extra.

A completely frivilous, amazingly cute pirate cupcake eyepatch. I love him so much.

Now prepare to be jelly. She made me the most beautiful apron, inspired by the ones on my wists. I can't even put into words how much I love this. (OH yeah i took like 20 mirror pics and this one sucked the least)

It's so pink, and girly and the sweetest little cupcake pockets.<3 I put in a pair of my sissors so you could tell it's a pocket. Just amazing detail on the ribbon for the cake part.

Thank-you laurasaurus!!!
