523  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: To Write Love On Her Arms Memorial Quilt on: November 22, 2008 10:01:19 AM
i know lots of people have said this, but your quilt is amazing, and so is the fact that you turned a huge and awful experience into something so beautiful. i cant say how much i commend and am in awe of you!

organisations like twloha are soooo important - ive had experiences with self harm before and thought i had nowhere to turn, but just reading their website and facebook groups helped enormously, so im a huge supporter.   the fact that your donating it to them too is soo huge - you made this incredible piece and what your doing is really selfless!

keep up the amazing work and seriously, you are amazing for picking yourself up after what you've been through xx
Cheesy Calling all craftsters in and around LondonCheesy

For the second year running, the East London Design Market will be taking place, aimed at those who make their own wares and would like somewhere to open them up to the public.

Held at Rich Mix, a cinema/music/conference/tea-hall venue on Bethnal Green Road, the market is in the perfect place to attract crowds wandering the East London markets on a Sunday (....Brick Lane, Spitalfields....) and perfect for anyone wishing to sell the beautiful gifts they just cant stop creating.

The market wants designers of all kinds: if you are a professionally seasoned knitter who wishes to sell a few hand-made bits you've got lying around, or have discovered your hobby in homemade felt-cats has got large enough to start selling your creations, please contact us and nab yourself a stall!

Sunday 7th December
Stallholders: 9am - 5.45pm
General public: 11am - 5.30pm
Stalls: 15 for a 6ft table (table is provided!)
