OOOOO!!! I was looking all Christmas for a garden gnome amigurumi pattern!!! Would you mind please linking me to where you found your tutorial or sending me the pattern?  Cheesy

Oooh, I don't know how to read or write patterns, sorry! I can tell you that I just made a smallish ball for the head and a bigger one for the body. I made the whiskers by wrapping yarn around two fingers and binding it in the middle and trimming the ends. I made his hat by chaining a circle, crocheting 3 rows, then I decreased every third stitch for a row, crocheted a few rows, and repeated (I think the middle part I crocheted for 4-5 rows before decreasing to get height). I just kind of made him up as I worked. I hope that's descriptive enough, the hat was the only tricky part. ^.^
24  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Little Amis- Tuskarr, Gnome, and Forest Spirit! on: January 05, 2009 07:04:22 AM
After the holiday gift rush, I finally had some time to make some little amis for myself!

This is WoW-related, called a Tuskarr. Here's a link to what they look like- http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath/features/factions/tuskarr.xml. I'm completely in love with these fat little dudes. If you're ever on the Blackwater Raiders server, say hi to Asherat! Wink  His whiskers were made by a failed attempt at a pom-pom, but I thought they ended up pretty cute, and repeated it for my gnome below.

I had some goofy garden gnomes I had painted for my garden, and had to give them away when I moved abroad. I made this guy to keep my indoor plants company. I made the cone hat by decreasing every third stitch in a row, then crocheting a row or two, and just kept repeating. There's probably a better way to do this.

This little guy is one of those forest spirits from the movie Princess Mononoke (I can't remember what they're called). I'll probably make a few more, I'm hoping to find something to stick inside them to make their heads clack.
