1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Man's button up dress shirt turned toddler halter dress on: April 29, 2010 04:50:28 PM
OMG!  That is the cutest thing I have ever seen!  I see everyone making little girl's dresses out of mens shirt and they are so cute.  But yours is by far my favorite!
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Pillowcase-ish Tank on: July 20, 2009 04:09:21 PM
Great job!  I am the same way when I'm in a clothing store.  "$75!  Are you serious!  I can so make that".  If more women made their own clothes, we wouldn't let fancy designers dictate what we should wear.  You go, girl!

5  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Baby Winter Dress - Copy of BabyGap design (image heavy) on: December 26, 2008 12:37:21 PM
I feel your pain, honey.  That's how my shopping is done, too.  If I can't afford to buy it, I learn to make it.  I'm learning to knit.  Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Oh, I just love the dress.  It looks as good or better than the original.  It takes a smart person (or super woman) to "copy" a designer look.  Smiley  Keep Crafting, girl!

9  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / Re: Machine Apron Thingie on: November 29, 2008 11:32:28 AM
Wow, your "machine apron" totally rocks.  I wish I had an embroidery machine!  Oh, well, I guess I'll just have to save my nickels and dimes.

Where did you get the design?  I love all the pockets, the embroidery and the pin cushion on top!
Great Job!
