Hi There ya'lll

I wanted to contribute few of free patterns I have acquired over the years. This website has patterns and instructions in English. You cannot download the pattern i believe but they give you a picture and you can draft the pattern on your own + instructions. oh also, they have designer inspired patterns for free Cheesy!! Enjoy (men, women and Home!!)

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / patterns for full on: March 02, 2013 06:40:37 PM

SO this dress is sold out and I really loveit not only is it expensive a whooping $650 its no where to be found similar style. I took on this ambitious project for a friends engagement in summer. i would like to know if you might know a similar pattern because the bodice and the skit do not look separate.

This is ULI from Project runway trademark dress: here is a view of it on the website.

Any help is appreciated also what material would suit it.

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Turning denim brown? on: November 19, 2012 08:28:56 PM

THere are a couple of tutorials how you can go about do this. Depending on how faded/bluer jean material you have..bleach them a couple of times till you get white color. I think the maximum it can take is 32 hours in bleach, wash and dry.

Buy some brown dye and dye your pants viola!

Hope it helps. Someone actually did this from jeans -> pastel color pants. I ll try to find that tutorial!
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / curtains helppppp on: October 28, 2011 11:03:54 PM

I was looking at craftster for ideas for my bedroom curtains design + technique. I recently got super greedy and bought a super cheap curtain fabric at $1 a meter can u believe it...the only problem i realize is , it has stretch to it like jersey, although its not!
Its white lace like texture. Any ideas? Since my bedroom theme is black/grey/white all together I am planning to dye it which I am currently researching. I like the ombre effect. So any ideas/Tute please feel free to post.

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Mannequin Head Jewelry Holder on: October 28, 2011 10:56:02 PM
I was passing by when I noticed this post....there are so many ideas. The easiest one i found here on the craftster forum is basically taking apart a rake and make it a jewellry holder.

She used it for belts but u can use it for necklace hanger!
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / ahhhh sizesss... please help regarding sizes on: June 06, 2011 01:00:38 PM

Fist before i get in to it..let me explain..well generally i learnt sewing by myself and mother who taught me cultural dress. all i hve learnt is how to make a general pattern from your own measurements.

Recently I bought simplicity pattern and another one from burda ....i REally really want to cry as i ddint consider looking at the sizes portion. I dont even know what size I am especially for burda who has a sizing chart.

Well i looked at the sizing chart and it doesnt make sense to me as for each category i fall somewhere else. Can someone walk me through how to determine what size I am especially burda pattern size !

Really appreciate it.THank-youuuuu. Hope someone can save me from tearing my hair off my head.

btwn here my main measurements if it will help! Bust: 39'' waist: 40.5'' hip:46''
oh and heres the sizing chart:http://www.burdastyle.com/techniques/find-your-burda-size
