1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / What stitches are these and what do they do? on: November 08, 2013 02:25:02 AM
Hi, Can anyone please tell me the name of these stitches in this link and their basic function? Im especially confused about the jagged stitches and the one that kind of looks like a blanket stitch (is it a blanket edge stitch)?

Thank you
2  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Janome 4052 or PRL-25-Anyone used one before? on: October 29, 2013 07:34:56 PM
Does anyone have a Janome 4052LX or PRL-25 sewing machine? What are your thoughts on it (it seems to be the same machine, marketed differently in the u.s and Canada)? How well does it sew fleece, stretchy knits and really heavy or light fabric? Is it quiet?

Thank you for any tips, these are discontinued models, but I wish I could own 4052 or PRL25 to learn sewing on.
3  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Janome Harmony 2039 on: April 10, 2013 11:55:57 PM
Im getting a refurbished Janome 2039sn, and I wondered what else can blind hem and smocking stitches be used for please? Also if you were going to make fleece cat toys, which stitch/length etc would you use to make it most durable?  Heres a link to it:

And if anyone out there has this machine, what do you think of it please?

Thanks so much Smiley
4  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / mailing panties to lover-how to decorate bag/gift box? on: September 20, 2012 12:12:41 PM
Hi, I have no idea where to post this, please bear with me. My lover is going away for several months, and I wanted to make panties, wear them so they'll remind him of me, and mail them to him.   My question is what is the best way to present/package worn panties so they look classy and make lover feel extra special? Im new to papercrafting, but would like advice on how to give him something he will love and be overwhelmingly excited by when he receives the package in the mail.

thank you so much, and i hope i dont offend anyone with this topic. I never done anything like this so I am learning how to do it right.
5  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Marble magnets -custom images on: November 01, 2008 01:44:50 AM
I just got into marble magnets and need help with printing them using my HP All-in-one printer/scanner/copier thingy ( i think its inkjet).  Are there any tips for preventing the ink on the printed custom images/photos from bleeding?  Should i print on cardstock or glossy photo paper? I'll be using "Diamond Glaze" Glue and E6000 when it arrives.  I have to make these magnets for a gift next week and dont want to make mistakes with this batch.  I got acrylic cabochons off etsy.com, as well as a few 3/4 inch glass marbles.  Any tips with photo editing programs or with how to resize images is greatly appreciated too!  Also, how long is the drying time for this craft?  I need to decorate a mint tin as well by this Tuesday and I feel so rushed!  Please help me, my fellow marbley-obsessed craftsters!

Thank you! Smiley
