1  Re: Embroider An Endless Possibilities Panel! {EEPP} Gallery in The Swap Gallery by mindboggld on: March 28, 2010 06:03:25 AM
Are you ready for the most AWESOMEST embroidered panel EVER?!?!

This is what I got from Poppy - I mean... HOW LUCKY AM I??!!??!

Look at that stitching! And those colors are just me! I love Robots!

She really did incorporate everything about me into one awesome piece!

She got the robots and the geeky, the girly and the whimsical, and even put a butterfly for the nature!

She got the personalization and bright colors, and the positive quotes... ALL IN ONE PIECE!  AMAZING!

Thank you sooooooo much!  She even sent this cute magnet

and these sticky gems!!!

BTW, she said she got the designs from a digital stamp set on mygrafico.com by Kelly Medina for those interested Smiley

And just to add - I did release the pattern on my site.

LOVE the bag and the goodies.  She really "got" me and its absolutely perfect!  Now I'm going to have to buy the pattern as my daughter wants one similar to carry her books in. LOL

4  Re: Inchies - it's a new year! Sendouts Feb. 16 in The Swap Gallery by mindboggld on: February 23, 2010 03:36:01 PM
It's been a long time coming... lots of inchies to unveil!

These were really 3d (and loved!)  My fave is the book one.  I'm a reader and love it!

My faves are the K and the 2nd to the left on the bottom row.  I loved every single one of these inchies... my daughter tried to steal two of them! LOL

My faves in this set are the two on the far right.  I have a thing for paisley prints (not on clothes tho!) and the texture is so intriguing on the bottom right one...

Hands Down...  Yup... Spock's the fave here! OMG! LOVE HIM! Cheesy

The cassette (says carefree) and the blue with hearts are my fave in this set.  I have no idea what LLAFUR is... LOL  Can someone enlighten me?

All in all - everyone of my swap partners did a great job!  Thanks!!!!

I like those fabric/embroidered inchies - I'd love to hold them. Smiley

I received my first inchies ever!

My daughter's fave is the felt flower one, but mine is teh embossed letter one - I don't know why, but it's just so cool... second is the 80 one.  Maybe I'm just really into the typeography ones in this set Smiley

Susan (smmart) also sent extra inchie backgrounds and bases to use later. Smiley  LOVE!

Thanks Susan!

I just finished my first inchies!!!!  I've made 14... thought I was doing good - looked up and 3.5 hours had passed!!! LOL

They are quite addicting!

I took a pic and uploaded on flickr.  I'd love some feedback as these are the first - good, bad, ugly, indifferent... let me know what you think please!

It's MARVIN!!!!!
Do you want me to sit in a corner and rust or just fall apart where I'm standing?
I think you ought to know I'm feeling very depressed.
It gives me a headache just trying to think down to your level.
Life. Loathe it or ignore it. You can't like it.

Ok, here are the towels I made for Snarkypants - I went with the Wallace and Gromit theme and tried to keep it around food (being tea towels Wink )

Now here's my disclaimer real quick - I'm not the best embroider (especially in this group - the talent amazes me!) but I was so happy I could do this for snarkypants.  I can't imagine what it would be like if I weren't getting my amazing robot tea towel soon.  I know that this package won't replace what she lost, but I do hope that it makes her smile Wink

Over all package:

All the teatowels:

I also made a little envelope with a surprise inside.

Surprise! It's a needlebook! Smiley

It's the least I could do with her sending me all those towels to stitch...

I'll mail it tomorrow (or Friday).  Think you can send me your address via PM?
