11  "Homeless Outfit" Grunge Hat- With Pattern ( Update) in Knitting: Completed Projects by colorxmexstupid7 on: February 24, 2009 03:23:10 PM
Everyone tells me I have a "Homeless Outfit" since I wear a variation of the same thing every day.
I made this hat to compliment my "outfit" and hide my gross hair.

It's ugly on purpose..

-The Pattern-

A Few Notes before we begin:
- There is NO Gauge- I used over 11 types of yarn in this pattern to bust my stash, so there is no gauge. I am sorry if that complicates things for you.
- The "pattern" for this hat is simply a guideline for it. I have included it so that you can see how it was done, but with the exception of all the color changes this pattern is incredibly simple so please modify as you see fit.
- I knit my hat to be about 7 inches before I began my decreases. If you make it longer, it will have more "slouch". (Please keep in mind that the decreases will add a little length too.)
- There are some Yarn Overs in the pattern, so please keep in mind if you don't want the holes in your hat, to remove those from the pattern and to knit the row as usual.

What You Need:
-Size 5 DPN's
-Yarn- Either One Skien or several
(Keep in mind- No Gauge due to the bulkier yarns used, but if you use on type of yarn, use worsted)

So....this is mostly random as but here is the  key of the colors I used and the order I used them in, if that makes it easier.
A- Color 1 ( Blue- with pink fun fur in it. yes. I know. Fun Fur is awful.)

C-Color 3 ( White)
D-Color 4 ( Brown)
