Here are the pictures from Monty's trip to Canada. It looks like he had a fantastic time and he brought back some lovely things!

First, the scrapbook.

Next, the souvenirs!

A really really pretty box, that took me a little while to figure out how to open!

Thank you kjlutz for being such an amazing partner and for looking after Monty so well!

I received from louw a few days ago but here finally are the pictures.

First the wonderful bag, it's such a great fabric.

Next a gorgeous necklace and a closeup.

Finally a lovely scarf in a wonderful shade of green (for keeping me warm as it's so cold at the moment!) plus keyring.

Thank you, I love everything!

4  Re: Christmas Stocking Swap 7 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by beccabadger on: December 18, 2011 03:55:50 AM
I hope stepharella doesn't mind but I thought I'd post a few more pictures of what I sent her.

A pen/pencil case with a ribbon to keep it closed:

The stocking. Navy blue with a pale blue lining with a sliver branch embroidered on it. This was the first time I'd done something like that and liked the effect! It's a shame it's really hard to get a good picture of it. I wish I'd checked my pictures first as it turns out they're all slightly blurry!

A fluffy plushie. His back is yellow and black striped but I don't have a pic of that.

A crochet hook roll that I'm quite proud of. You can't see the individual bits for each hook unfortunately.

A mug rug. The first time I've made one. The back is a dark red fabric.

I'm glad you liked everything Stepharella. I saw the coloured pencils and immediately thought of you!

5  Re: Summer Sockathon Sockalong 2011 (June 7-Sept. 22) ~Yarn Prizes!~ in Knitalongs by beccabadger on: September 10, 2011 02:44:39 AM
Yay! My second pair of socks is done! They're really thick but that's good as this house will be freezing in winter.

Started: 24th August
Finished: 8th September
Pattern: A combination of the one free from Get Knitted and this one, modified slightly for a smaller size as I was using chunky wool.
Yarn: Two balls of Robin chunky, although I think I have enough left from each to make another pair in inverse colours.

Yay, I've finished my first ever socks! Mostly they're fine, although one has two small holes where I turned the heel.

Pattern: Free with all sock yarn from Get Knitted
Yarn you've used and how much (meterage, yards, skeins, etc.): Superba, 100g ball though I didn't use all of it
Start date: Around 27th July
End date: 23rd August

7  Re: Little Visitor 11 Winter Galleries !!! in The Swap Gallery by beccabadger on: March 18, 2010 02:20:02 AM
I received a while ago but have been incredibly slow at posting pictures. Sorry!

So, here we are. Louis looks like he had an absolutely amazing time. Thank you ppcakes!

Louis, showing me a couple of pages from the scrapbook.

Louis with some leaflets from where they visited and some gifts he brought back.

A T-shirt Louis and ppcakes tie-died together. The colours don't show up so well on the pic unfortunately.

Thank you ppcakes for being an amazing partner. I hope Speckles arrives soon!

8  Re: Jar of Whimsies 7 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by beccabadger on: March 18, 2010 02:13:58 AM
I know I've been really bad about posting photos, but here, finally, they are. I know some people think posting photos so late is being unappreciative of their partner's work, but I can honestly say this isn't the case with me. There's just been a lot of stuff going on. I received a wonderful jar and love it all. Thank you bexieboo!

First, the jar!

Next, a large amount of papers sent with the jar.

Now, some of the hand made whimsies. The little pin cushion is straight from my Wists, as is the cute little monster(?). I'm not sure whether to call him/her a monster. He/she's just a cute little ball of fluff really. What shall I name him/her?

Finally, some of the whimsies out of the jar. This isn't all of them. For instance there are many more stamps, many more buttons, small balls of wool, feathers, ribbon, and many more other little bits and pieces. I'm loving the teeny tiny stars, they're so cute! I'm going to have to figure out something to do with them.

Thank you again Bexieboo. And thank you for putting up with my lateness.

Right, sorry it took a little while to post, but here's what I received from TerraBella01

First, a large selection of papers. Christmas, cute, shiny, all great  Grin

Next, an old Michigan road map, a 40s paper called 'The Prairie Farmer', some casino cards, ribbons and other bits and pieces.

Last, but certainly not least, some quotes (which I love), tags, clear stamps and pictures.

Thank you so much. I love everything and can't wait to get stuck in to using it all!  Grin

10  Re: Altered Puzzle Swap Round 2 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by beccabadger on: January 02, 2010 07:59:47 AM
Sorry it took so long, but here, finally, are my pictures! I can't put the puzzle together properly yet. A couple pieces are still to arrive so I'll post that once they've arrived.

First, ohiodiygirl's piece, which is so lovely. Her picture is better than mine though:

Next, from seeuudee, two wonderful pieces:

Next, from acrosstheuniverse. She recognised my love of Stargate so combined that with my theme, and what a wonderful piece she created!

Finally, from QueenNinjaMonkey. The second piece was initially glued together but I think it must have come apart in the post as she crafted it as two pieces. That's fine though, and it works just as well.

Thank you all of you! So far I am totally impressed with all the pieces, and I'm really hoping mine are good enough. I haven't been doing this sort of crafting for a very long time, and to be honest I think it shows!
