Welcome to round 3 of the Stash Swap!  I'll be organizing this round since Qwerty is busy planing her wedding! The details of the swap are about the same as the other rounds, which means you can only craft from your stash. This means you can not go buy anything new to use for this swap! You'll be making 3 items for your partner (like the original Stash Swap) AND sending a small stash of supplies. The items you'll be making are:
1. A wearable item (clothing, jewelry, accessory, hat, etc.)
2. A functional item (bag, a pillow, a wallet, ipod cozy, etc.)
3. A fun item!
4. Supplies

And remember you'll need to get a DC number when you mail your package!

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Buttons! LOTS of Pictures!!! on: December 15, 2005 08:16:18 AM
i made them with a badge-a-mint. it took about two days. the last ones are made out of fabric. sorry for the billion pictures, but there are a ton of buttons!

these set of fabric buttons i made a bunch of each, but they all kind look the same, so i didn't want to have that many more pictures!

6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / interface problems on: December 12, 2005 07:46:31 PM
I've been using iron on interface for my bags, but usually it will bubble or come off of the fabric.  I've tried a few different ways of ironing it on and a few different brands, but most of the time it messes up.  I'm not sure what to do about this, but I really can't stand it! Any help or suggestions would be great!

8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / 3 Knitting Needle Cases! on: November 03, 2005 04:01:21 PM
This is the first one i made, kind of an experiment, but came out just the way i wanted.

the second one i made (for a swap awhile ago)

this one is technically a paint brush holder, but made the same way, and my favorite!

9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Harry Potter Scarf on: October 03, 2005 08:16:26 AM

i knitted it on size 13 round needles with 2 strands at once. it took about 30 mins per stripe (with 15 stripes). im really pleased with it even though it took so long.
10  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / proper etiquette for sending pillow on: September 29, 2005 03:01:09 PM
is it ok if i were to send a pillow unstuffed? they shipping cost would be so much cheapper.
i was thinking that i could put a zipper in one of the seams, so the receiver wouldn't have to sew anything (and it would help with future cleaning).
if i were to do it with a zipper and no stuffing, should i send some money so they could buy stuffing? or is that not necessary?
