1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Girl Scout Troop learning to Crochet needs a good pattern...help!! on: February 17, 2009 07:13:28 PM
My mom is a girl scout leader and she would like me to come to one of their meetings and teach the girls how to crochet.  I doubt that they will be happy learning just the basic stiches so I would like to find a cool patter for something quick and easy to teach them.

Does anyone have any ideas???

I was thinking maybe just a basic granny square or a simple scarf.
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Colorful Circles Afghan (1st BIG project Ever Completed) on: November 12, 2008 08:53:47 AM
It took my about a year to get this totally finished but I did it and I think it is awesome what do you think???

The colors look a little funky in the picture but it is brown, red, blue, and yellow.

3  UNITED STATES / Michigan / Where do you get your Yarn/Craft Supplies??? on: October 24, 2008 07:13:14 AM
Hey All!  I recently started crocheting like a feind and I am tired of the normal yarn that you can find at Michael's and the other big chain crafty stores.  Does anyone have any suggestions of good stores that have nice stuff for decent prices?  I live in redford and don't mind taking driving if the prices/selections are good.
