1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Can someone tell me the name of this pattern and where it's from? on: January 01, 2010 03:55:07 PM

I saved the photo to remind myself to get the pattern and make it but then I forgot about it (for almost a year! DOH!) and now have no idea what site I saved the picture from  Tongue  I saved the picture name as Crop Top

Hopefully someone can guide me in the right direction on finding it Smiley

2  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Turkey inspired by Merriven IMAGE HEAVY on: November 17, 2008 04:06:45 PM
I loved Merriven's little turkey sooo much that I had to try my hands at making one as soon as she put up a tute
https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=277292.0 but a few mistakes here and a few froggings later and it started to take on a life of it's own.  So my turkey (who I named Joe by the way) is a cousin of Merriven's Tongue

I used a US 0/2.55mm
It took a few tries to get my hands use to working that small and I wouldnt recommend it unless you really want to that needle is just too darn small for this project, but I only had a 3.75mm and that was leaving the holes too big for my likings on a dc stuffie Tongue

When I finished the body/head I left the tail long enough to go through with a darning needle and close any holes that showed stuffing.  The dark yarn is really forgiving and doesnt show any mess ups TG cause I know I had them!!!
