1  Stripwork toddler top in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by Giraffecat on: February 14, 2009 04:08:40 PM
I made this top for my daughter from a pattern on YCMT for a stripwork jumper.  I made it shorter to use as a top.  The fabric is from Wal-Mart!  I loved the color combinations.   Any comments would be appreciated.

2  Peasant Top and Cuffed pants-YCMT patterns in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by Giraffecat on: February 12, 2009 06:54:58 AM
This is a top and pants that I made for my 13 month old daughter from patterns I purchased on youcanmakethis.com  (Portrait Peasant Top and Easy Fit Pants).  I LOVE these patterns.  Very easy and versatile.  There are lots of options for making them different lengths, styles, etc.  The fabric I used was given to my by my cousin...lightweight denim for the pants and cotton print for the top and cuffs.

4  Self Drafted "Hanna" dress and Toddler Sleeveless Top in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by Giraffecat on: February 01, 2009 04:54:57 PM
Here are two of my latest creations for my 13 month old (wearing 18 mo clothes) DD.  The first is my take on the "Hanna A" play dress.  I measured a dress of hers and came up with my own pattern.  I think it turned out pretty good-also only my 2nd time working with knit fabric!  The second piece is a tank top, also worn with long sleeves underneath.  It is from this tutorial:  http://www.jcarolinecreative.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Store_Code=JC&Screen=CHILDTOP.  I had made one before and this time elongated the bodice a bit to fit my tall daughter.  Any comments would be appreciated! :-)  Click on the pics to see them bigger.
