2  UNITED STATES / Maine / Consignment shops? on: April 25, 2005 07:58:55 AM
Hi I'm from Massachusetts but head up to Maine from time to time, I was wondering if any of you guys knew of any consignment shops that sell artist's work? I make jewelry and I'm interested in trying to get my work in a few stores around New England and also I like to check out cool stores! Any help would be greatly appreciated  Smiley thanks
3  UNITED STATES / Massachusetts / Raspberry Beret on: April 23, 2005 07:46:03 AM
Has anyone heard of or been to the consignment "Raspberry Beret" in Wakefield Ma?

My husband and I drove by there a few weeks ago but we were in a hurry to get to the RMV and couldn't stop in.

Speaking of consignment shops does anyone know of any in the New England area?

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Thread Earrings!! on: March 26, 2005 05:32:27 PM
Here's some pictures of my thread earrings!  I LOVE making and wearing these, they're so much fun. If you haven't heard about them you actually thread the chain stuff through your piercings and let them dangle and if you have multiple piercings you can weave them through and make wraps and loops and things.

Let me know what you think! or if you have any suggestions on how I can make them better and such. All the findings are sterling silver and are made for the purpose of "threading" them through your ears, they're good for sensitive ears too and are really light to wear, I always forget I'm wearing them. And once they're threaded through they pretty much stay put.

If anyone else makes thread earrings I'd love to see pics!

These are one of a kind.

So sparkley! heh

These ones come with two sets of beads so you can mix and match.

Guitar picks! I have so many colors

Barbie shoes! They come with a whole bunch of gem beads so you can mix and match and coordinate them with your outfits! heh

Thanks for looking I'd love to know what you guys think, I've worked really hard on these!

6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Pistol Charm Bracelets and Earrings on: March 26, 2005 05:16:22 PM
I started making these earrings awhile ago after a request from a friend, I put them on my page figuring I wouldn't get much response, months later and I'm still getting emails about them daily (goes to show what I know heh it's always the things that I think won't sell that get the most response).

I recently added pistol charm bracelets too.

Let me know what you think once you get the hang of it they're faiirly easy to make it's just a matter of tracking down the charms.

The jelly bracelets have like a toggle clasp in the back and I sewed the charm on using clear line stuff, I have them in a few different colors.

A silver plated bracelet (I didn't think these would sell but people seem to like them) I'm thinking about making some of these and putting them with the earrings as a set...

Thanks for looking!

7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Guitar Pick "Thread" earrings! on: February 17, 2005 06:05:16 PM
Here's what I made today!

I made a bunch of these guitar pick sterling silver thread earrings. If you haven't seen thread earrings before you actually "weave" the sterling silver chain through your piercings.

You can see everything on my lj page thing.
8  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Take Out Menus Tote! on: January 30, 2005 05:59:48 PM

Finially a place to put all your take out menus and keep them organized!! It's a simple tote with a ribbon loop that attaches to a magnet or sticky hook. On the front is a laminated vintage looking picture of a boy and lady on the telephone and "Take Out Menus" in the middle.

I keep mine on the side of the fridge, but you could put it near the phone anywhere really! The only thing you have to worry about is agreeing on where to order from.  Tongue

9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Skull Cuff! on: January 30, 2005 05:52:19 PM

I made this using ribbon and lined it with felt. It attaches with snaps and is adjustable! The felt makes it super comfortable to wear.

and here's my version of the guitar pick bracelet! I'm working on making guitar pick earrings but with silver charms with the picks, I'll post pictures when I'm finished!
10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Hearts and Flowers will brighten your day! (a bunch of earrings and a bracelet) on: January 30, 2005 05:48:13 PM
Here's a bunch of earrings I'm making for an upcoming craft fair and for my page. www.livejournal.com/users/sabrinas_charm/

and here's a better picture of my "fortune cookie bracelet" that I think I've posted before...
