2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / my toothbrush bracelets :D on: June 29, 2005 11:27:55 AM
sorry about the large images.
These were easy peasy to make: just plop them into a pan of boiling water, leave them for a bit to soften and using utencils take them out, and bend with your *pink* rubber gloved hands.   Smiley
Use the cheap plastic toothbrushes, you could pull the bristles out but i thought they looked more extravagant to leave them in.

3  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / my fairy stencil thankyou cards on: May 24, 2005 11:45:12 AM
My thankyou cards handmade by moi, given out to family for my birthday.

i know theyre basic but they were good practise for stencilling.
These were also the first thing i did on my new sewing machine, whilst messing around with the stitches. Dont worry i used an old needle so i would damage the new ones or whatever  Smiley

sorry about the crappy pics

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / :) my bigish purple strappy bag (image heavy) on: May 24, 2005 11:36:21 AM
i finished this bag a couple of months ago, planning for it to be my school bag. When finished i realised that the strap was too small to fit over my stupid school blazer's shoulder  Angry

ah well, i can always find another use.

I used the skipping bag tutorial for the rectangular bottom, but edited the rest of the instructions according to the way the straps were fitted. oo and thanks to the jordy tutorial for the lining.

To make my bags sturdy but not stiff, i always use hessian as an interface. Its really helpful and natural but kindof gets a bit smelly while ironing.

hope you likey. feedback is apreciated.

these are  plectrums which are really easy to find at music shops, they were 45p each! -----

These are scrabble pieces, miniture scrabble though so the pieces aren't that big.------

I made both of these earrings by heating up a safety pin on a candle and sticking it through the plastic, that makes the hole. Then i used rings of wire to connect them to the earring things which you can easily find in crafty stores or sewing shops.

these are my pom-pom earrings, i love them but the image isnt that good ---

these are the erasers that you put on top of a pencil Tongue ! i pierced a hole in them to thread the wire through, and i added some beads at on end ---

i hope you like them...which one should i give to my friend?

i heated up the end of a safety pin on a candle and poked the needle through the plastic to make the holes...then i thread the wire through and joined it to the earring thingys!
