my go!
just recently pinkifyed my hair, on these pictures it looks quite faded (which it has already) - it actually is brighter. Ive only dyed a bit of hair, seeing as my school is uptight about these sort of things - can you believe your not allowed to wear stripey socks? theyre not even obvious.

These photos dont show off my fringe  Embarrassed i quite like it aswell, its harsh and shaped around my face.
ah well, pink fun xx

one day my hair will be rainbow like....

3  my toothbrush bracelets :D in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by helz on: June 29, 2005 11:27:55 AM
sorry about the large images.
These were easy peasy to make: just plop them into a pan of boiling water, leave them for a bit to soften and using utencils take them out, and bend with your *pink* rubber gloved hands.   Smiley
Use the cheap plastic toothbrushes, you could pull the bristles out but i thought they looked more extravagant to leave them in.

5  my fairy stencil thankyou cards in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by helz on: May 24, 2005 11:45:12 AM
My thankyou cards handmade by moi, given out to family for my birthday.

i know theyre basic but they were good practise for stencilling.
These were also the first thing i did on my new sewing machine, whilst messing around with the stitches. Dont worry i used an old needle so i would damage the new ones or whatever  Smiley

sorry about the crappy pics

all together:

6  :) my bigish purple strappy bag (image heavy) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by helz on: May 24, 2005 11:36:21 AM
i finished this bag a couple of months ago, planning for it to be my school bag. When finished i realised that the strap was too small to fit over my stupid school blazer's shoulder  Angry

ah well, i can always find another use.

I used the skipping bag tutorial for the rectangular bottom, but edited the rest of the instructions according to the way the straps were fitted. oo and thanks to the jordy tutorial for the lining.

To make my bags sturdy but not stiff, i always use hessian as an interface. Its really helpful and natural but kindof gets a bit smelly while ironing.

hope you likey. feedback is apreciated.
