81  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Wild Woman Mesh Top on: March 26, 2009 07:51:16 AM
Cute shirt.  Animal print is one of my favorites!

Where did you find mesh fabric?  I've thought I looked everywhere for it, but I can't find.

I'm gonna make the business card holder on your site.

82  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / I Love This Book! Doll Fashionistas on: March 13, 2009 09:54:21 AM
I have borrowed books from the library on doll making, bought a sculpting DVD (it was terrible I thought a little kid was holding the camera), tried different fabrics and patterns and this book is the best, Doll Fashionistas.

It has the basic doll pattern, a face template, a hair loom, face sculpting after painting in the features, doll clothes patterns, and a DVD.  I haven't made a doll yet, I just got the book yesterday, but I'll post my finished doll when it's done.

Borrow it from the library, but you'll want to own it.

Why not color your own melt and pour?

Go to www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com

They have a variety of soap bases, colors that don't bleed and molds.

Easy peasy.

Did you fill the bottom third with sand or gravel?

I saw this project and wanted to share it with you.

Take out the oil and add a couple of tablespoons of bleach for kitchen wipes.

To store soap I use cello bags from:

They have all kinds of bags and packaging in their catalog.

(I am not affiliated with this co.)

Thanks Skyy.  I like the Chanel purse, but the pattern was for a "faux" Coach.
