That's really neat!  Congrats on quitting.  I have heard it is extremely hard! Smiley
72  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Wooden Letters with a Wire Twist on: October 28, 2008 04:02:34 PM
My two goddaughters did not have the classic wooden name letters, so I decided to "make them" some.  Their mom picked out the letters she wanted from Micheal's & the paint color she wanted them to be.  I painted them, had my husband drill the holes (Since I am not handy with power tools), & threaded 18g wire through them.  It will help with hanging them & give them a touch that no other child will have.   Let me know what you think!

P.S. This is my first new topic post.  I am hoping I posted this is the correct spot.

That is really neat!  What a wonderful idea for Father's Day.  My husband would love that, if he was actually a father.  Wink

Those are really neat!  They are enough fall to introduce into your home, without going over board.

That is absolutely amazing!  I am sure they will love the Christmas gift.  I have found as I grow older that people love the hand made stuff more than the store bought stuff!   Grin
