1  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects / terrariums! on: September 02, 2011 03:25:58 PM
Hi,
I haven't posted in forever because I was finishing school but now I have time yay! I've been making terrariums lately, and I wanted some feedback:

I hope you like it Smiley It's washed sand, moss, and a tillandisa. I want to try making more terrariums with succulents or other rooted plants, but I'm concerned about drainage. Also is it possible to grow succulents in just sand or should I mix with soil? Thanks for any and all feedback!
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Knitting at work on: October 09, 2008 11:03:21 AM
Does anyone here knit while they're on the job?

I'm a full time student but work part time at the ITS office at my school.  Usually it's pretty slow here but sometimes we have to set up a projector or install a printer.  During the summer I would knit during my downtime (since I didn't have homework yet).  One day my boss told me I can't anymore Sad She said I could do anything "surf the internet, read, just don't knit"

WHYYY??

99% of what I knit is for my club and goes to homeless people!
