1  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Moss and Chocolate Love Beads Quilt on: January 17, 2010 09:14:32 PM
I have the book this pattern comes from. I've been meaning to make this quilt for about a year. This is a total inspiration to actually try and make one. The choice for corduroy is great, my boyfriend would die for a quilt made out of corduroy. I might need to steal some of your ideas.

Congratulations on finishing it. You should be very proud!!!
2  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Jurassic Park Live - Sexy Muldoon on: January 17, 2010 12:38:10 PM
Wow! That sounds like a lot of work. From what you've posted, it looks amazing.

One small criticism: I would argue that "Original Muldoon" was already "Sexy Muldoon".
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Hello Carpincho! (A Soft Brooch of Capybara Goodness) on: January 16, 2010 10:05:47 PM
I love it! He's so adorable.

Thank you!  I think they're adorable, too, but this one is an adult female.  Males have a scent marking gland on their "muzzle" up near their eyes.  Wink

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Ladies & Gentleman...I present the Beer Mug Purse on: January 16, 2010 03:44:08 PM
That's awesome! I had no idea it was a purse from the thumbnail. The handle you used is perfect!
5  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Victorian Cottage on: January 03, 2010 09:04:23 PM
You've done a lovely job. I've been thinking of making one the these for my niece. Was it very difficult?
6  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Shark Fin Soup on: December 06, 2009 01:14:33 PM
When I was a little girl, I was obsessed with sharks (maybe I watched Jaws one too many times). I still think they're the most awesome animals on the planet. Apparently the sharks without fins, sink to the bottom and soffocate because they can't push water through there gills, then attract more sharks for the fisherman to kill. It's tragic really.

Despite what a lot of people think, humans do more harm to sharks then they could ever do to us.

Unless we're talking about land sharks with candygrams. Those things are deadly
7  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: The biggest quilt I have ever made on: October 21, 2009 03:07:06 PM
Congratulations! You should be very proud. I'm about to start my own queen size quilt (first as well). It's good to see someone else succeed. Great job again!
8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Deer Run Messenger Bag on: October 21, 2009 11:09:45 AM
Very nice. I just put my first zipper in on a recent project as well. Not nearly has challenging as I thought it would be. The fabric is beautiful. Who makes it / what's it called? I searched for Deer Run and found nothing. Great job!
9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Star Wars Grocery bag on: September 27, 2009 09:36:08 PM
Love it! Where did you get the fabric? Is it from vintage sheets? I'm totally jealous of your friend, good job.
10  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: I made some Christmas cards on: September 19, 2009 08:09:10 AM
I think these are great. I especially like the one with Christmas lights, it's simple with a cool retro feel. Well done.
