I don't think I've seen either kind of regular resin at Joanns, but you should ask to be sure. 
(They may, however, have the soft-surface type of epoxy resin that used for holding silk flowers in place inside clear containers --if Joann's carries arificial flowers, etc.-- but that type of resin won't work for most typical "craft" resin work.)
