11  Re: Ongoing Wish Swap Round 100 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by gamemom42 on: February 01, 2014 10:53:48 AM
texscrapper claimed me for some American Girl doll goodies for my granddaughter.  My granddaughter has a sad little life (won't depress you all with details).  When I pulled these beautiful pieces out of the package, I knew they would make my Alisha smile and that makes me so happy.

She sent an oh so pretty pillowcase dress as well as two skirts!

The wrap skirt is reversible!

Thank you so much Summer!

I love the colors of that trash bag and mug rug, that's just a happy color combo.  !

After more tries than I can count, I finally got the picture of my wonderfully whimsical inchies that Breegy sent me uploaded!  I have no idea what I was doing wrong, but I hope it never happens again.

If I absolutely had to pick a favorite, I think it would be the...nope; can't pick a favorite.  I love them all!
Thanks Breegy!

I also received a package of supplies and hearts from ladybugsandbumbleebees.

I'm collecting hearts to make "jars of hearts" to keep on hand for friends who are feeling let down, broken hearted, or just sad and these are such a perfect start to my little collection.

After that crazy generous collection of hearts, she also sent a ton of absolutely thrilling supplies... scrabble tiles, a bag of metal bottle caps ( she pointed out that she was not the one who drank all that beer), and a bag chock full of pretty, fun, cute, functional, terrific buttons!

Thanks so much ladybugsandbumbleebees!

Oh; by the way, have any of you ever tried to explain inchies to someone who just doesn't get it?  When my inchies arrived, I was so happy that I squealed a bit.  My husband asked what they were and I tried to explain that they are tiny unique works of art made just for me.  That's a great explanation, right?  Well, he looked at me and smirked... he smirked!!!  My husband is a wonderful guy who indulges me like a great husband should but he just can't get the appeal of inchies.  Go figure  Huh

I have been trying to put up pics of the inchies Breegy made me but I keep getting "error code 2".  I then tried just copying the picture from my file and pasting it in the gallery but apparently that doesn't work.  Any suggestions?
Is it in the right format? I think craftster mainly uses jpeg, but maybe gif and png.

You can try using tinypic.com to upload it and paste in between the [img] tags.

There doesn't seem to be format problem.  The other pics in that file will upload just fine... weird.  I'll try the tinypic thing.

I'm finally able to post pics of the wonderful first aid rolls that watsonc7 sent me.  These will be in three lucky ladies stockings this Christmas and I'm absolutely thrilled with them.  The fabric choices are perfect and as usual watsonc7's workmanship is beyond amazing.

Notice that she even filled them with first aid goodies!  Thank you so much!

Kookaloo_Star made this beautiful crocheted hexi pincushion for me and also created my first Christmas TM patches!  I am so happy with everything in this gorgeous package of goodies!

And I don't believe breegy ever got a chance to post pics of the matching game I made for her daughter so I figured while I'm posting pics I'll post that as well:

I received this sweet little hoop from mariak!  I don't use blue on my tree, but I really think this deserves a spot on my hoopla wall anyway.  I just love it!

She also sent a couple of cute extras that definitely do fit the color scheme of my Christmas tree.

I'm thinking of making some teeny little red yarn balls to fill the adorable little crocheted bag.

Thank you so much mariak.  I love everything!

I rec'd this wonderful skull scarf from rscowtown.  I'm so late posting pics because my computer and camera hate one another and I hate getting in the middle of their quarrels.

This was going to be a Christmas gift but I'm not sure I'll be able to wait.  We get so few genuine winter scarf days here in Georgia that I hate to waste any pre-Christmas ones by holding onto it.  We'll see....

The pretty hobo is my other daughter who was in pj's and a jacket on the back porch having her morning coffee when I called her into service as my model.  Still, you can see how amazing that scarf is!

Thank you so much rscowtown!

I received an AWESOME OVER THE TOP box full of goodness for my students from the AWESOME gamemom42 today!

I can't take and post photos, so I'll describe:  She claimed me for something for my classroom.  I've had melted crayons on my Pinterest and wist for awhile.  gamemom not only sent the crayons, she made little felt pouches for them, and included little pads of paper with them too!

SHE MADE FIFTEEN OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Roll Eyes

Thank you so much!

Here's a photo of a few of the crayons/pouches/pads.  It was all very simple and plain, but I was happy with the end result and I'm so glad you are Barbara.  I have a designated crayon muffin tin now and the smell is actually pleasant to me so if anyone else wants to put these on your pinterest I'm up for another claim or two.  (Peeling the crayons is the only horrible part.  Even after soaking them they are still so hard to remove!

I have been trying to gather a few personalized things for my granddaughter for her December birthday and for Christmas this year.  Her little life has been turned upside down this year since her single mom adopted two nieces.  Now my sweet Alisha has to share not only her home, her toys, her pets... but she's also having to share her mom with two very needy little girls.  It's been so hard on her.  I thought a few things personalized with her name or initials would be nice for her during this intense time of sharing every little thing.

Texscrapper claimed me for a personalized bath towel.  Not only did she deliver the prettiest towel you can imagine, but she also sent a monogramed washcloth to match.  I am so over the top happy with this gift for my Alisha.

Thank you so very much Summer!

I have a cute plastic bag holder in my kitchen, made by A2K or plaidpineapple  (I'm embarrassed but I actually can't remember if it was made by A2K or plaid pineapple.  I have such lovely things made by both), and I love it!  I needed another one to hang near the litter box for my kitties business and I really wanted it in a cat themed fabric.  Watsonc7 filled that claim  with one of the best cat fabrics I've ever seen!

Here's a close up of that fab fabric just because I want everyone to see how great it is:

She also claimed for a custom made greeting card.  I'm pen pals with one of my former students and I love to send the little guy over the top cards that suit his interests and personality.  Watsonc7 made this amazing space themed card and I am so excited to send it to my young friend!

Notice the stars on the envelope, and she listed the planets inside the card.  I asked for "over the top" and boy did she deliver!

Thank you so so much watsonc7!
