46  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Little Leaf Man on: July 10, 2009 09:38:07 AM
My mom gave me this calender for my birthday that shows seasonal leaves for every month with instructions how to make little leaf men with felt. I made a little holly man

I also made those little men with the kids in church and they loved it.
It's nice to use the leaves for seasonal decoration, maybe hanging them in branches or making a mobile with different ones.
47  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / A polka-dotted sun hat for the hot & sunny days on: July 03, 2009 07:32:31 AM
I made this hat for the Virtual Vacation Swap and I'm quite proud of how it turned out.

I found the pattern in a Burda magazine. They used plaid fabric but I like the polka dots better.
48  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Simple blue dreamcatcher on: April 17, 2009 01:28:15 AM
I made this dreamcatcher for my 5-year-old godson

His favourite colour is blue, obviously. He asked me to make him a dreamcatcher for his birthday (which is in November) because he's had really bad dreams recently. Being a good godmother Cheesy I couldn't wait until November to do something against his nightmares.

I made this kind of origami star yesterday. In Germany, we call this kind of star aurelio star. It's a lot of folding and glueing and took me quite a while to finish, but I like the result Smiley What do you think?
