1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Scoodie pattern? on: October 06, 2008 02:22:55 AM
Does anyone have a scoodie pattern they could share? Smiley It's almost winter, and although I live in the Philippines (which is a tropical country), the AC in my office is way too cold!!
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / row question on: September 25, 2008 12:26:40 AM
Okay, Im sorry if this has been posted, but Ive been searching the forums and couldnt find it

When you guys work on ch to do a rowwhere do you insert the hook? Do you insert it under the two Vs, on just the top V, or on the top V and butt? Ive read in Debbie Stollers book to insert it on the two Vs, but on all the other tutorials online, they only insert it on the top V. Sad

Help, anyone? Which would make my scarf not stretch?
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Help with Creepy Cute crochet pattern on: May 28, 2008 07:14:45 AM
So I'm working on Needle Noodle's Creepy Cute Crochet's "Corporate Zombie" pattern...and I'm stuck on how to attach the hair! Has anyone worked on this pattern? It says sew the fringes on one side, then another...which sides? The left and right, or front and back to make "bangs" and "back hair?"

I tried the "zig zag" TWICE but he ended up with a lot of bald patches... and the photos in the book doesn't look like he has bald patches.

I'm ready to give up...

I'm so confused  Huh Huh Huh
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / crochet size question? on: November 02, 2007 07:41:34 AM
Can someone explain to me how come in some amigurumi books it says use a 5/0 hook? I was able to purchase some hooks with numbers like 3/0, 5/0, 6/0, and 7/0 (on top of the usual E, F, G, etc hooks).

Does anyone have the actual conversion of these hooks? I've been trying to look for them online, but it's mostly UK and US conversions...
5  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Can't wait for Ana Paula's book! :D on: October 03, 2007 12:38:05 AM
I was searching on Amazon for any up-and-coming Amigurumi books, and it turns out Ana Paula is coming out with her own!

I'm so excited!!! Grin
6  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Discussion and Questions / Japanese amigurumi books on: October 02, 2007 08:45:49 PM
So I finally bought one of those Japanese amigurumi books while on a trip to Singapore. I'm sure some of you have bought them too...

My question is, how come there are some amigurumi photos in the book that have no patterns? Only a website listed? And when I try to access those listed websites, they no longer exist?

Has anyone else encountered the same problem?
7  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / HELP with Beth Doherty's robot pattern on: September 23, 2007 03:38:40 AM
Okay, in the robot pattern she wrote in CRAFT 1, it says "inc 3 evenly spaced: 54 scs."

What does that mean? I've tried increasing by three then doing 3 scs in each row, but I never end up with 54 scs! Please help! Sad Doherty's patterns are always the hardest to understand!!!
8  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs / Suggestions on how to display guitar straps? on: September 20, 2007 03:56:17 AM
Hi guys! I'm attending my second bazaar on October 21. I sell guitar straps and at my last bazaar (which was my first!), my friend and I looked like total amateurs! I ended up placing all my guitar straps on the table, coiled up and looking like this:

I'd like to display it in a less messy manner...and without hogging up the table! Sad Any suggestions? My booth space is about 10x6 feet, and I'm sharing it with a friend who makes embelishments for shirts.
