1  Re: Video Game Swap 2016 Gallery in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by BunnieBard on: November 09, 2016 06:05:32 PM
Ooooo-kaaaay~ Finally!  I got...

Adorable cards and envelopes with Triforces and WINDFISH on them!  Grin The Windfish is adorable, and when I saw these I said, "Gosh! A custom stamp, I sure would like to have one like that...!" .....and LO AND BEHOLD, she also gifted me the stamps and the inkpad used! Windfishes on eeeeverythiiiing~

Sewn heart container Christmas ornaments! My husband and I have only had a tree together for one year, so it needs more ornaments and these fit the bill nicely!

A tin which had the stamps/ink inside, chapstick, a pink ribbon pin, and... strange candy!! I haven't been brave enough to open either yet... what is the bag of Peace candy...?  Cheesy

Everything so far is adorable! BUT... prepare to be jealous!!

So I always list a ton of things on my "what do you want" list, to give people lots of options of what to make. I suggested, "Maybe something like http://artsycraftybabe.typepad.com/artsycrafty_babe/2009/06/the-people-have-spoken.html" and got:

A PHOEBE BAG. Look at that decorative stitching!!

Please tell me you did this with a machine, and not by hand. PLEASE. Because... wow! I've never thought to use a decorative stitch like this before, so I'm stealing the idea! And the straps look wonderful, don't know what you were complaining about.  Wink Next I said I needed a wallet, maybe something like http://www.sew4home.com/projects/fabric-art-accents/eclectic-elements-tim-holtz-coats-fabric-wallet and got:

THAT EXACT WALLET. With more decorative stitching on the inside!

Crazy! I also said I needed a tea wallet, and a little make-upy type bag...

...of which I got both, one filled with delicious, delicious candy and the other with a whole variety of TEA~ including a few Earl Grey, my favorite!!  Grin Then I said I liked big heavy zippers and got...

... a felt ruppe keychain (we're both Zelda fans!) and a... a.... pouch... made entirely out of a zipper. Like.... she took half a black and half a purple zipper, zipped them together, and... wrapped them... around.. .and sewed them... It just blows my mind, how do you do this?!  Shocked So that's literally EVERYTHING I put on my want list. Do you understand....? ALL OF IT.

Oh, and plus this:

A bear hat! Hilarious! I crochet/sell nerdy hats (seriously... like... I've probably made well over 100), but they're all a little too nerdy for me to want to wear in public, so I don't actually HAVE a hat to wear.... and now I do! Smiley

SOOOO~ Ninjaturtlegal, thank you for everything, it is all super lovely! I only hope my package can live up to yours....

Finally, pictures! I don't have internet at home at the moment, so I'm sneaking a moment a work to post these. Wink Anyhoo, first off is a...

Starfox cellphone cozy! I really dig this basic-silhouette-style felt cutting! You can really tell it's Fox! Continuing this neat style, we have...

A Mega Man pillow! With Mega Man on one side, and either Elec Man or bad-MM1-box-art styled Mega Man on the other. Too cool!

Then a framed print! Oh my goodness, I actually recognize this art and love it! It was featured in Udon's Mega Man Tribute book, and... er, I also kinda sorta happen to have a picture in that book. http://bunniebard.deviantart.com/art/Some-Light-Reading-254501731 Grin

Next is a Mega Man perler bead, and an awesome painted box... or chest? Either was the painting is super awesome, and inside is...

A DUNGEON MAZE. Cheesy How hilarious is that?! It's got a Triforce, a little rolled up map, and an adorable little clay Link! The tip of his hat broke off in transport, but it should glue easily back on.

So THANKS Luvebuggy! So much stuff and I love it all! You totally went crazy over the point limit, I'm so spoiled....  Smiley

Yeah, that Mama magnet actually was a knitting color chart I made for the Crafting Mama contest we had here a while back? But I never actually knit it... it's just as good in perler beads, though!!  Wink I also have a Word file for the cards; you can print them on Avery postcard sheets... would anybody want them? Amigurl? Grin

I ALSO got my package on Tuesday~ And it's super lovely~!!! But I haven't taken the photos off my camera yet, will do that soon!!

5  Re: Zelda Round 5 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by BunnieBard on: April 27, 2013 09:16:19 PM
Got mine on Friday!! Huzzaaaah, take a look!

First we have... an Ocarina of Time styled Heart Container... COOKIE TIN. It's plastic actually, not a tin, but I'll probably use it for sweets of some sort.

I wonder, was this spray-painted? I might glaze over it with a... a finish of some sort to make it more food-safe and to prevent the paint from chipping. BUT! Open this box, and behold!

We have cute invitations (and name plates for seating) to the tea party I can OBVIOUSLY hold with all this stuff, and ceramic tile coasters with OoT-graphics Spiritual Stones! I used to have tile coasters when I was little, but haven't seen 'em in ages! So these are great! And also, unfortunately, super heavy. Sorry you had to spend so much on shipping...  Undecided

Lastly, and most certainly not least... a painted wood tray~! <3

I actually got another tea tray (in a previous Zelda swap), and now I have TWO! So amazing! I love it! Thanks so much for everything, Cerebral Atrophy!!

6  Ninja Turtles swap? in New Swap Theme Ideas by BunnieBard on: December 21, 2012 11:21:38 AM

Sooo... who's seen the new Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? It is pretty dang good... and more importantly, reminds me of what a huge flippin' nerd I am for Ninja Turtles!!  Cheesy

So who likes this idea? 1980's, 2003, and 2012 cartoons... movies... comics... you could even branch out a bit with Usaji Yojimbo...?? I'm thinking 4 or 5 points, sign-ups sometime in January? And I could totally organize.

Don't let me down, guys! I already have like 3 awesome ideas I want to craft! Smiley

Oh my gosh, that Toph hoopla is great! That little Momo shirt has THE CUTEST MOMO EVER. I also love the earth tribe... coin thing... earrings? Smiley

But now for my package!! Everything together:

A very useful Cabbage Corp. craft box, a cute Art card which didn't photograph too well, and a "mako" bracelet and a ring with a moon bead on it! Also...

Adorable Pabu sculpture! And...

A pretty glass bead necklace! On a clear line, so you can't see it, aaaaand~...

Yue's hair decorations, in smaller barrette form! I love these, they're so cute!

Thanks Oath Keeper!!  Grin

10  Legend of Korra / Avatar: The Last Airbender round 4?? in New Swap Theme Ideas by BunnieBard on: May 07, 2012 06:53:02 PM
This is an Avatar Universe swap. Cartoons, comics, and (if you insist, 'cause it was pretty terrible) movie are all included!
What would be a good time to do this, everyone??

Has anyone here seen the new Avatar cartoon, "The Legend of Korra"? It takes place 70 years after the end of The Last Airbender... and is flippin' amazing. The first five episodes are up for free on Nick.com; you should watch them if you haven't already!

So... I am totally in love with this show. I also recently discovered tumblr, and the amount of Korra fanart is staggering! But there's still a distinct lack of crafty things... surely we can change that? Who's with me??  Cheesy

I don't know what all you need to be an organizer, but I think I probably fit the requirements by now if we need someone to do it.
