1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Plushies on: September 21, 2009 02:49:31 PM
Oh my god, they're so cool, they look like Rosie and Jim!!

I don't know if you know who Rosie and Jim are, so I'll explain Tongue : It was a kids show that was on when I was little, this man owned a canal boat and on the sofa inside were these two rag dolls, called Rosie and Jim. They would have like mini adventures and occasionally talk to this wooden duck that was attatched to the roof of the boat haha

Anyway, they're lovely dolls Smiley

Ha, maybe, I wouldn't know! When we bought our car (second hand) we cleaned it, and I found this ring under one of the seats, so I've been wearing it ever since Smiley I think it's real silver, as I'm allergic to most other metals and I've ner had any reaction the ring Smiley

I really do love the brooch though, I love that you left the leather on - I would never have thought of that!!
And I like that there's a map in it, rather than a picture Smiley

That's a very lovely brooch, but did you by any chance get that rose off a ring? Because I have exactly the same one:

HAHA I thought you meant real pigs  Cheesy

Very good idea!! Although they can be vulnerable to magpies and stuff, so just stick another trellis on top, so that the birds can't get to them Smiley
