1  4th of July dress and headband in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by 3toadsandaprincess on: June 30, 2009 11:38:30 AM
I had this material sitting around and decided to make a dress for my 2 1/2 year old.  At first I cut out the bodice in the stripe and decided not even a 2 year old could pull off that much stripe. Grin  I'm going to put a navy skirt on that one with a different strap later.

2  My Vacation collection in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by 3toadsandaprincess on: June 24, 2009 09:30:53 PM
So my hubby reminded me we leave for vacation in a 2 weeks....I needed a bag to carry all that lovely kid stuff on the plane and a purse...2 1/2 yards of material and 2 days and I have my vacation collection.

All the pieces...both bags have zippered tops and everything is fully lined, because I'm just ocd that way.

Big tote also know as the Mary Poppins bag...way bigger than I planned, but Hey if needed I can fit my 2 year old in it. Grin

The purse-bad photo Roll Eyes

All the accesories..wallet, pouches, sunglass, camera and phone cases....one is missing from the photo.

Thanks for looking

3  Boy Cargo pants to girly bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by 3toadsandaprincess on: June 07, 2009 08:25:48 PM
I took a pair of my sons old cargo pants and some some blue flower material and made a slouchy purse.  Back pocket and cargo pockets reused...fully lined, just a snap and ribbon to close.

A few kinks in it...but functional. Grin

Now that I think I've worked out the kinks, I'm going to try again with jeans ( I have a ton, 3 little boys are hard on pants Roll Eyes)  next time, a little smaller and  with a zippered top.

4  3 Summer Dresses in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by 3toadsandaprincess on: May 17, 2009 06:42:03 PM
My little girl had a dress I love made by gap...So I decided to copy it and then play with it some more. Wink

The first two are halter style with elastic across the back.  Only difference really is in the fullness of the skirts.

The last one I wanted to see what else I could try.

Any comments and critics  would be great, Thanks!

Excuse the messy hair... Roll Eyes

5  Baby Shower gifts for a girl in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by 3toadsandaprincess on: May 17, 2009 06:35:24 PM
These are some outfits I did for a coworker of my dh.  They are size 12 month onsies that I appliqued and then made cordinating bottoms and headbands.  The onsies that have skirts also have appliques on the bums.  Hey if they're going to stick them up in the air they might as well be cute! Grin

Any comments and critiques are appreciated..TIA
