I made a cute tank top from this pattern too, then broke the zipper and never got around to fixing it.

I did wish I had a pretty sling instead of the boring navy blue one I got from Urgent Care.  Sadly I didn't have enough range of motion to do any sewing until lately, and I still don't have enough strength to operate a pair of scissors.  (I did buy a rotary cutter yesterday!)  Since the cast comes off in a week, though, I think I'll focus my efforts elsewhere.   Smiley

I found this fabric at Joanns on the sale rack and knew I had to make a sundress out of it.  I made it for my vacation to Mexico and finished it the weekend before.  All I had left to do was sew on a hook and eye above the zipper.  I thought, "oh well, I'll do that tomorrow".  Well 'tomorrow' I broke my arm, and needless to say, the hook and eye got left off!

I did use a Simplicity tank top pattern for the bodice.  Then just added a waistband and a gathered rectangle for the skirt.

I made one!  It was so easy!

I used a 4-way stretch I found in the dancewear/swimwear section of JoAnns.   I had to sew some elastic in the back because otherwise it sagged a lot.

Here's a photo of me wearing it with the waistband up above the bust.

My straps are only 60" long, so I'm a little limited in variations, but I can still get a couple halter versions, the greek goddess vesion, and the sleeved look.  Smiley
