7151  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Make-a-Friend Round 6 (Summer 2010) Signups Apr 9 - May 3 on: April 13, 2010 11:10:43 AM

I think I am having trouble focusing on something that won't come off as completely crass and inappropriate (I have a very earthy, cynical, callous, sarcastic, crass morbid sense of humour sometimes)
I love inappropriate! Maybe we should be partners!
LOL - the only problem is that the sense of humour is very spontaneously - I just don't know how to craft it Cheesy
Would you consider it a challenge?
But challenges are super!
I know what you mean, though. How do I craft myself into 10 items for someone else without being crude or tacky? *sigh*

PS I totally just sent in my questionnaire! I'm in! Add me, too! Yay!

but if you are kinda crude and tacky, then wouldn't it be best to craft the way you would if thinking about you, since honesty is good and makes for good close friendships.... And if it comes out crude/tacky/crass/morbid/cynical then it would be an honest representation.....
BTW Jexxican... I don't think you are all that crude... A little crass maybe, but in a good way.  Being your partner in MOH-april was great! whom ever you partner with is going to have a great time!

as in youll'll find something that has your partners favorite animal on it.

For package one, it needs to be your favorite stuff, not the partners!  Then the rest of the packages are all about your partner.
Looking at some of the former galleries, I did see that some people got this confused and sent the 10 things in the first package geared toward what their partner would like.

Now, I just found out my partner is a vegan, which totally rules out one of my favorite kitchen items, a nifty egg timer type thingy, since she would have absolutely no use for it.  So in someways, I think it's important to take your partner into consideration...  If I was a millionaire, I'd send her a kitchen aid stand mixer instead, but I'll send something she may find useful. after reading through the rules and pacakges and sendouts and questionaire 800 times yesterday and this morning, I've decided that yes, I can do this.  Bonus is that I have my fairly random partner Missing_Muse!  I will send in my questionaire later this morning!

That would be random!  I don't think I've even seen your name on here yet  missing_muse lol  Sounds like fun... give me a few days to mull it over...........  I need to think just a tiny bit more, but more then likely I'll be in on this one.........................

I think I just might join then.... I'll give it a while to think a bit more,  but my summer is an empty SAHM slate!  Nothing but days spent rotating the backyard with the basement with kids who like to craft with me!!!!  Cheesy

I was thinking it would be really fun to be randomly partnered.  But I could always have a look through doesn't have a partner and see if anyone already involved in this is willing......

I'm still really thinking about this..... If I knew who my partner was in advance then I'd definitly be in... cause I could start on package one early.... Oh and a question regarding package one.  Do all 10 items need to be crafted, or can some of them be purchased?  Cause that may sway me too.....

actually.. I just thought of this... if pacakge 1 is all about me, I could just start on it now anyway............... hhrrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmm... so rediculously tempting!
