so it was quiet a while ago i said I'd be joining you all in this fun, and well, I finally have something to share... You may remember I was going to go with a botany theme, but yeah... that didn't happen.  i'm using this more as a form of journalling that I can actually do... writing never works for me.  Anyway, onto the pics with thier wordy descriptions..... ironic, eh?

First page:  This one shows how it feels to finally have that baby girl you've always wanted, but have Post-Partum Depression (PPD)  It is interactive.  The sheer fabric lifts and the heart on the ribbon can be tucked into the lace covered pocket.
sheer up:

sheer down:  (notice how bits hang out, you can see things, but everything is foggy...)

Second page:  This didn't work out to well.... I need to figure out how to stretch out the backing fabric... What I did was take stretch fabric and strech it out then stich it down with the heartbeat type pattern on the machine.  It is to represent how I feel as a mother of 3... Stretched out and pulled in every direction all at the same time.  The buttons are my kids, and me Smiley

Third page:  This is so far from the original concept which leads me to believe that beauty can come from pain.  I still plan on making the original concept, but I'll keep that a secret until I make it Smiley

Hopefully you guys enjoy them, It was very releasing to make them.  I felt lighter once I was finished Smiley  Oh, and welcome into my head.... it's weird in here right now Wink

great stuff Franco!  thank you!  I find back strap weaving terribly awkward, which is why I was going to go with a  RH loom...  If I can't find a deal, I just might try a frame loom Smiley

this is an old thread, but I'm finding it useful!  Here i am thinking you just stick whatever yarn through that will fit every hole and space....  I guess i'm wrong... perhaps I should get a book  at the same time as a rigid heddle loom.... Thank you Nicolassa for explaining that!
