Thank you!!

Guess what! Our little play was a fundraiser for both local non-profits and the Ronald McDonald House, and the final total raised was just over $14000!!!!  (5100 for local groups, and 9200 for McD's House!)  This town never ceases to amaze me.

Awe thanks Rackycoo!!!

Yay to all the this rocks clicks too Cheesy

Yikes, my town has a population of about 4,000 souls, and I thought that was small!  You've definitely got us beat at 285-750.  That just shows that the arts will always find a way to flourish despite a smaller population to create and enjoy them!

Very true, the arts will never die, and will always be a welcome and needed part of society!

Thank you for flipping them! So much easier than having to tilt heads lol

Our town village is 285 people big (maybe 750 if you count the farms within a 50km radius).  It's amazing that about 10-20% of the population can pull together for a cause, and bring people from quite a ways out for a few nights of amazing fun.

Thank you so much!  It was the cheapest/easiest way to make many outfits, so I went with it! lol I think by the end of both nights, I'd worn it every way I could so it was totally worth the effort.

I'm a part of our local theatre group. We are very small, so each of us is responsible for our own costuming. I chose to make my own this year because I had visions Smiley  Each of the three pieces was made to be completely reversible so my character, Barbara Seville, could have costume changes.  I created the patterns as well as did all the sewing.  It took me way longer than I thought it would and totally was down to the wire, refitting the corset part right before show time, after the snaps kept popping during dress rehearsal. But I got a lot of compliments on it, so that's a win!

(sorry, some are sideways! I never know how that happens, as they are upright on my computer!)

Thanks Ladies!

Wicked costume! And also, be still my heart, just look at those CURLS! Your oldest lad is one cool dude.

And yeah, those curls... Believe it or not, there was no effort into that hair. That's just what it does. I'm so jealous.
