Okay - looked on ravelry and didn't see this pattern, but I also didn't look through ALL of the 67 pages of purse crochet patterns! Any way you can post a link to it? Or PM me if that's more acceptable? Thanks!

I'll PM it Smiley

That's a lovely bag!
Great job on the chevron part.
I agree that those are pretty yarns.
I would go for a strap in that dark blue color (or is it black?).

Black, I think my light was a little too bright haha. I was debating using store bought straps, but I think matching knit straps would be best?

Just finished up this knit tote, can't decide on straps though! Love the ombr Chroma yarn from knit picks!

Thanks!  I loved the video!

It helps a ton! I still use it when I haven't done hairpin lace in a while and forget how to start it haha

I have wanted to try hairpin lace...what a gorgeous project!

This might be a project I could handle--would you rate it as beginner or intermediate...?  I had no idea there was even a thing called a hairpin loom...

thanks for sharing...I love learning new things, especially when I see such a striking finished item!

I'd say beginner. It takes a little bit getting used to the loom, it's kind of awkward to hold, but once you get the hang of it, it goes quickly and it's relaxing!

The best tutorial for it is from Bhooked. She makes an infinity scarf, but the video shows all the steps!  Smiley
