3  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Pumpkins with faces and more on: August 26, 2017 06:09:31 PM
I couldn't wait until October to post these  Tongue, they are just so much fun to sculpt.

I love sculpting silly/creepy little faces on my miniature pumpkins, I am almost always laughing or at least smiling when I am sculpting them.  Cheesy

The two sitting on the right side of the bench are my favorites. They make me think of Sock and Buskin aka comedy and tragedy masks.

Shelf sitter dolls, their little arms and legs are moveable. I also made the teeny candy corn, black licorice, and candy pumpkins in the jars in the background, they are just a little bigger than nonpareil sprinkles. None of the dolls have been painted, all the color comes from the clay itself.

The cat is my favorite of the trio.

5  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Pineapple Planter on: May 06, 2017 02:58:32 AM
Hand sculpted from polymer clay. It is about 3 3/4 in tall and about the same width.

It was sculpted over a aluminum tea can so that the inside is waterproof.

It is not painted, the color comes from the clay itself and colored chalks that were brushed on before the clay was baked

I haven't counted them all, but there are at least 120 berries.

It has a real live Zebra Haworhia plant planted inside.

I am pretty happy with how this turned out, I may have to sculpt more!  Cheesy

Another Unicorn  Grin

Hand sculpted from polymer clay without the use of molds. Painted with acrylic paint. The mane and tail are made from tibetan lambs wool.

She is 6 3/8 in tall at the highest point and about 6 1/2 in long.

So far I think that she is one of my best Smiley
