4  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Crochet necklace help on: June 05, 2015 08:51:47 AM
I wasn't sure if I should post this here or in jewelry but it's really a crochet technique, so here goes:

I want to crochet a necklace (btw, new to crochet - I can do the basic chain and slip stitch) but so many patterns/tutorials I have found involve using clasps. I want to crochet a complete circle so there are no metal parts - just something to slip over the head. I have just experimented on my own but tying the two ends together looks obvious. Anyone know the trick or at least the crochet language I am looking for so I can Google it?

I like to price to the 5's for easier math Wink My stuff (bags, wallets) typically run from $10 to $40. I think $10 sounds fair, thanks for the input.

I whipped up a few of these lil' owls for a craft show tomorrow and have no clue what people would pay for them. They are approximately 6 X 6 inches. Use 3 different fabrics and have buttons for eyes.
Suggestions please!

Sorry the pic is not great, had to use my phone.
