a lot of the links on here go to sets of labels. you could very easily adapt those. Or there's lots of those grow animals at the dollar store... where you put them in water and they grow. You could do snakes, octopus, etc. I've seen them there pretty recently.

Can't wait to see what you come up with.

ok not really that crafty... but you can buy that slimey stuff in packs at the dollar tree. boys love anything slimey. I've found lots of cool labels that look vintage / poison and you could just relabel them.

also check out this link:
this is what I'm doing for my cheer team. they're 5, 6, and 7. got a pack of brown paper bags 20 for a buck at the dollar tree.

And I have a cricut and do stuff with vinyl for fun and for friends. You can buy it cheap at signwarehouse.com

Can't wait to see it! I love the office so far!

I love it! I'm going to be starting my 3L year... love crafty lawyers!!
Maybe keep an eye out for some scales of justice. I have some I got at SteinMart for like 20 bucks. I didn't like the color so I painted them.

OR... ooooo! I just thought of this! Maybe follow some of the tutes off here for wall decals & do a black wall decal of an outline of scales of justice. It could turn into a large piece of art for really cheap.

I can't wait to see what else you do.

OMG! Love them!!!

My favorite day of the semester was the day after move in day to go around and see everyone's decorated rooms. Some people changed there's every semester... and speaking of crafty sorority girls.... OMG. I've never lived with 95 other craftier people. It was craft city! But then you have no where to put all your stuff in the tiny rooms!

And sooooo jealous you can have a fridge and microwave! I lived without for 3 years.... hahaha

Love it!!
I made something similar recently.... although a little bigger since it had to feed like 40. I posted it recently and linked to the tutorial I used.
You can find it here- the tut has step by step pictures too.

Hi all! I'm a crafster Newbie but have been a lurker for a long time. I've gotten so much inspiration from all of you I figured it's about time I started posting some stuff.

I got inspired by the rainbow cupcakes / cakes that everyone's been making and showing off. I don't know where the exact tutorial is located on crafster but I got inspired by all of you and especially used this:
Also used riverwatson's fondant tute here:

I've been doing kids birthdays for awhile. I do princess parties where I go dressed up as a princess and have dress up for them. I'm also a talented facepainter, but this is my first elaborate cake endeavor. I ALREADY GOT ASKED TO MAKE LIKE 3 MORE DIFFERENT CAKES FOR FRIENDS' KIDS BIRTHDAYS!!! I guess I'm gonna have to add that to the services I offer.... wow I'm weird.  Cheesy
The party theme was "Dreamland." Everyone wore pajamas and we had dreamland / huge candy decorations. I made a heart shaped cake because that's what the birthday girl wanted but there was no way that would be enough cake for 30 guests plus parents! Sadly I don't have any pics of that one because my forndant work kicked ass on that one!!!

The bigger party cake is supposed to be a giant cloud hence the layers of fondant.... also it was like 2:30 when the cakes went in the oven and the party was at 6:30 and I was in charge of every tiny detail. Isn't necessity the mother of invention? I was putting the cakes in the freezer to cool then crumb coating then putting them back in to harden then rolling out fondant like a mad woman. It all got done though.... and the kids were SHOCKED at the inside of the cake!!!

Since I'm a newbie I don't think I can upload but here's the link to the pics on photobucket:

Thanks for looking... sorry for the long diatribe!  Grin

the one I'm starting with is for a guy friend and it is hard to find masculine enough stuff... I ended up buying a lot of "country" type paper packs because they were on clearance and the solids and more plain prints are just rich reds, greens and browns. I think it's gonna turn out good...
