1  Stitched Heart + Initial Tree in Needlework: Completed Projects by Sejimara on: April 25, 2012 03:26:42 PM
My Cousin to Be's bridal shower is this Sunday, along with the items I purchased from their registry I wanted to include something handmade.  I got the pattern from http://www.themodernladyblog.com/index.php/2011/02/02/heart-tree-carving-embroidery-pattern-tutorial/.  I purchased a frame for $3.99 but when I removed the cardboard corners the corners of the frame weren't matched up, it looked more like a $1 frame.  So I Mod Podged some scrapbook papers on the sides to mask this imperfection.  I really hope she (they) like it.

I love everything that's been posted here so far.....and I was just as lucky!!!
I got my package from craftADDchick today....check 'em out!

The solid one is "Holiday Diamond" and the other is "Granny Corner" and the smaller scrubbie is her own pattern.  I love them.  I don't know if the pic shows it but they are super thick.

I received my package from fiddlegirl8 today and it was great (that rhymes)!
Two skeins of bulky yarn and a GIANT crochet hook (per my request), one million buttons, some beads, magnetic snaps and some beaded fringe.

Tons of fabric, patterns, a quilt mag, thread and some die cuts.

Thank you again!!!

TheSapphireMoon-Those charm bracelets are AWESOME.  Can you say "wisted"?  Wink

astormorray-That yarn looks delish!

Lillianpearl-I am so impressed with your first loom scarf.  I don't know if I would have the patience to make t-shirt yarn.

aprettymess-Love the skirts.  Great job!

I finally finished a destash project that I started in January...

This is my first time doing a sampler style cross stitch.  Measures about 6"x6".  I modified a pattern I found online.  I already had the oatmeal aida cloth and all the floss.  Now I just have to dig out a frame for it and store it away until December.

I haven't posted in forever!

bananaleg-Your market bag rocks! One of the many reasons I NEED to learn to crochet.

Kittymom13- Your walker bag is so cute and what a thoughtful idea.  Also, congrats on your new machine!

rantyhippie-That yarn is beautiful.  I can't wait to see what you make.

I've destashed some yarn into a Zig Zag scarf.  I'm gifting it to my cousin for her b-day next week.

Belladune- I love that hat and you are one lucky woman w/ a Hubby like that.

I added to my stash today...but it was FREE...

I am an EXTREME beginner so I am enlisting some help with my machine and hope to make something soon (from stash fabric, of course!).

bananaleg-I love that needle roll and what a great idea for the hair ties.  I wish I had an Uncle who gifted me buttons! Grin

tigergirl-Those pincushions are awesome.  I like how they are BIG BIG BIG!

sheepBlue-Whoa, you have made some killer items from your stash, very talented.  That mobile is so cool!

BrackishPotato-Nice job on the paper crafts.  I forgot I could use ribbon on the bookmarks, I've been so into the tassles since I just learned how.

I destashed some more cardstock, paper and yarn on these bookmarks...

I "fake" joined the Reading Swap and made myself some bookmarks from my stash.  I also had the matching yarn and it was my first time ever making tassels.
