1  CANADA / British Columbia / Metal Stamping Supplies in the the Vancouver area? on: February 24, 2011 01:05:57 PM
I want to get into jewelry stamping, and I know that there are a TONNE of resources and sites online where I can get the supplies, but I am impatient, and I wanted to know if there are any places in the Vancouver/GVRD area that sell metal stamping supplies?

2  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: poison ivy. on: October 11, 2009 05:52:18 PM
Eep! I though I could help, but the Poison Ivy costume I made last year was based on the Hush series. I've never heard of the one you've described, but if you can figure it out, it sounds like it would make a wicked cool costume. Good luck!!!

Hmm ... I second carrying around something like a bat, possibly covered in fake blood. The bandanna idea is also a good one. I think an effective costume would be one that makes it look like you've been on the run/hiding for some time. Lots of very dirty, worn looking layers, and definitely some sort of ruck sack.

Good luck!

To show you guys how much I love FOTC, I decided my first post should be dedicated to them!

I got the idea for this from Lilyvanilli's post 'the human's are dead' https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=230823.0 And, of course, the images are from http://www.explodingdog.com/

This was my very first attempt at embroidery ... Not too shabby, if I do say so myself.

The stitches I used in this were back stitch, and whipped back stitch.

(Sorry for the links guys, I'm new!)
