Mandyhello, yours look pretty darn good too! Now I want bread.
12  COOKING / Vegetarian / Vegan / Re: Vegetarian Meals for Meat Eaters (and Vegetarians, too!) on: March 23, 2010 08:24:39 PM
Let's begin with full disclosure Smiley I'm not a vegetarian. I won't ever be a vegetarian, but I love vegetarian food! I try to cook several meatless meals per week and they need to please my meat eating husband.

I'm also a non-vegetarian who loves vegetarian food! It's so good to know there's someone else out there like me, haha. Actually, most of my meals are vegetarian.

Those stuffed shells look so delicious! I may try them with my meat-loving boyfriend, who recently dubbed eggplant parmigiana "the vegetarian's revenge". I already bookmarked this!
13  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: English-Spanish Dictionary! on: March 23, 2010 06:58:53 AM
Im havings troubles finding a good translation to "quilting" besides "colcha". My problem is that the term quilting is used for more than what "colcha" incorporates (wich is only the actual finished quilt) Hopefully someone can help me with this!

maria isabel, that one I really don't know! I think technically they are the same thing, since the "colchas" I remember from my childhood had a certain resemblance... But Argentina clearly doesn't have the quilting culture there is here in the US.

Its so good you have started this! I like using the correct name for things, sometimes I dont know and use the english name Sad This dictionary will be very useful for my blog since I wirte in both languages.

I'm glad to know the dictionary will be useful for you! Let me know if you can think of any words that should be here and haven't been included yet.

Me alegra saber que el diccionario te va a ser til! Avsame si se te ocurre alguna palabra que debera estar aqu y an no ha sido incluida.
15  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Wedding Dress Livre-Objet/Object Book on: March 12, 2010 06:07:55 AM
I also think this is a brilliant concept AND was wonderfully executed. Great timing too as it is Women's History Month here in the US! I hope you try to get it to more places after this exhibition you've submitted it to. I would totally feature it the day I have an art gallery of my own!
16  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Perfect Scale #3 on: March 10, 2010 02:59:26 PM
These are pretty awesome. I agree with all those saying you should start selling them on Etsy or something! I think they would make great gifts (even if for oneself).

I have a question, though. Are they strong enough to support you if you stand on them? Because it would be so neat if you could stand on these later ones like on the first one you made.
17  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: ...my baby plays the guitar, I pick a banjo now... on: March 03, 2010 07:46:38 PM
So adorable! Great detail. It's a pity you couldn't enter it to the contest.
18  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Jem, Jem, Truly Outrageous!! (and the Misfits....) on: February 28, 2010 07:57:41 PM
My friend (who just left) and I were reminiscing about Jem only a few minutes ago! This is crazy.

These are really good. Great job. You should always show them as a diptych (the Jem ones) and a tryptic (the Misfits); It makes them more powerful, I think.
19  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: A Low-Fat Chipotle CREAM sauce, whaaaat! on: February 22, 2010 10:18:36 AM
I just tried this and it's so good! The only thing I changed is the chipotle (which I don't have) for sage and white pepper (my favorites for cream sauce). It's so simple, and yet I didn't think about it... Thank you for sharing. Smiley
20  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: A knitting needle gets its wish! (Fairy wand) on: February 10, 2010 08:27:27 PM

Thank you! Smiley
