1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / A few blankets/afghans on: November 18, 2016 03:00:39 PM

This was a stashbuster. It ended up being 5ft wide and 7 ft long.

Christmas gift for my bestfriend.

This is one of my favorite ones. It's three strands held together. Three rows of one color then drop one strand and pick up one of the next color for one row. Then drop one more of the first color and pick up one more of the second for a row. Then three rows of the new color and so on. I love how thick and heavy it is.

My uncle's wife requested I make this and I made one in my daughter's size just to give her an idea of how it would look. Here it is.

And here's a question for y'all. If I used a size F hook to make it fit a 3 month old and I just wanted to increase hook size for a larger size what size hook would you use to make it fit a 6-9 and 9-12 month old?

3  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: Lets See Pics of Tattoos You Designed! on: June 05, 2009 08:08:15 AM
Ok, I'm going to apologize now about how pic heavy mine is gonna be, lol. but here we go.

this is my newest one on my right arm. this picture is from a couple days after it was touched up. it's my 3 yr anniversary present.

this is my fifth (and sixth depending on how you count them) one. My dad got it for me as a Christmas present. The colors of my hands aren't that different, it's just two pics I put together.

here's the pacman/cherries bracelet on the inside of my left wrist. I've had this going on 5 years now.

I'm so proud of my family and where I come from. this is my 3rd tattoo, it's my maiden name on my neck.

My second tattoos is a rose a very good friend drew up for me with my nickname "Niecie" in the center. It's on my right shoulder blade.

And my first tattoo ever from when i turned 18 is on the inside of my right wrist. and it's very cliche and looks like a wig from the 50's, lol.

thank y'all! it's roughly 5 1/2 ft one way and 4 1/2 ft the other. I was going to make it alot bigger but I ran out of bon bon and decided that was the universe's way of telling me to stop, lol.

it's actually done in a 3-1 pattern. I did three rows of the bon bon (pink and blue) yarn in double crochet and then one row with the black. The black row pattern is 3 double crochet then the fourth stitch instead of going into the top loops and yarning over I jumped down to below the three rows of pink and yarn over and pulled it through then worked the rest of it like a regular dc. then 3 more regular dc and the fourth goofy stitch the whole way across. I doubt that makes any sense, lol. if not just ask and i'll try to clarify or take pics or something to explain it better, lol.

wow! I love the 5 point star! The darker in between each of the bright colors really makes it pop.

the blue and green are caron simply soft and the white is just red heart baby yarn. the white isn't as soft as the blue and green but the slight difference in texture feels nice together.
